    摘要: A reactive polysaccharide derivative of formula, [Z1-B—SO2—CH2—CH2—O]—PS—[OH]m(1), wherein B is a radical of formula (2a), (2b), (2c), (2d) or (2e), in which R1 is hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl, R2 is hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxy, sulfo, sulfato, carboxy or R3 by cyano, or a radical, (2f) R3 is hydrogen, hydroxy, sulfo, sulfato, carboxy, cyano, halogen, C1-C4alkoxycarbonyl, C1-C4alkanoyloxy, carbamoyl or a group —SO2—Y, alk and alk1 are each independently of the other linear or branched C1-C6alkylene, arylene is a phenylene or naphthylene radical unsubstituted or substituted by sulfo, carboxy, C1-C4alkyl, C1-C4alkoxy or by halogen, Q is a radical —O— or —NR1— wherein R1 is as defined above, W is a group —SO2—NR2—, —CONR2— or —NR2CO— wherein R2 is as defined above, Y is vinyl or a radical —CH2—CH2—U and U is a group removable under alkaline conditions, and k is a number 0 or 1, Z1 is a reactive radical, PS corresponds to the backbone of the polysaccharide molecule apart from the hydroxyl groups, m is 0, 1 or an integer greater than 1, n is 1 or an integer greater than 1, and the sum of n+m corresponds to the original number of hydroxyl groups in the polysaccharide molecule, and wherein the asterisk in each of the radicals B of formulae (2a), (2b), (2c), (2d) and (2e) indicates the position which is bound to the sulfonyl group of the polysaccharide derivative of formula (1), is useful as a finishing agent for textile fibers and for other applications.

    摘要: There is disclosed a process for printing fibre material by the direct printing process, which process comprises printing the fibre material with a print paste comprising at least one dye, one cellulose derivative or alginate as thickener as well as further customary assistants and wherein the print paste comprises .ltoreq.5% by weight, based on the print paste, of a homopolymer or copolymer based on acrylamide.The novel process makes it possible to obtain strong patterned prints on a white ground which have good levelness, good fastness properties and sharp contours. The print pastes are distinguished by good homogeneity, good storage stability and simple handling.

    摘要: A process for the preparation of amines of formula ##STR1## wherein the variables are defined as in the claims, which comprises reacting 1 molar equivalent of an amine of formula ##STR2## with 0.8 to 1.5 molar equivalents of an aldehyde of formulaR--CHO (3)and 0.8 to 2 molar equivalents of formic acid, in aqueous medium, and adjusting the pH by addition of a mineral acid such that, at the conclusion of the reaction, the pH is in the range from 3 to 7. The compounds obtainable by the process are useful intermediates for the synthesis of dyeing assistants.
