Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle for mounting a clamp to a line includes a body, a first propeller attached to the body, a second propeller attached to the body, and a third propeller attached to the body. The body is between at least one of the first propeller and the second propeller, the first propeller and the third propeller, or the second propeller and the third propeller. A guide is attached to the body and is configured to support the clamp for mounting to the line by flying the unmanned aerial vehicle toward the line. The guide is configured to support the clamp such that an imaginary clamp line between a first jaw of the clamp and a second jaw of the clamp when the clamp is in an arrested position is non-parallel to a plane intersecting the first propeller, the second propeller, and the third propeller.

Abstract: A cover for a fiber optic cable connection includes a cap portion having a first housing portion having a first housing wall, a second housing portion having a second housing wall, and a coupler portion that couples the first housing portion and the second housing portion in a closed position. The first housing wall and the second housing wall define a housing opening. A sealing assembly is received within the housing opening and has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface defines a sealing opening that receives a fiber optic cable. The outer surface contacts at least one of the first housing wall or the second housing wall when the sealing assembly is received within the housing opening. The sealing assembly creates an additional seal when the first housing wall and the second housing wall compress the sealing assembly onto a union portion.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a compression device defining an aperture and is configured to receive a first portion of a base row of wires and a first portion of a core of an electrical conductor within the aperture. An outer tube defines a central through hole and is configured to receive the compression device within the central through hole. A first end of the outer tube is configured to be compressed around the first end of the compression device, and a first portion of the core of the associated electrical conductor to create a compressed assembly. The compressed assembly is contiguous with a second portion of the base row of wires and a second portion of the core of the associated electrical conductor.
