Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an antenna switching capability for the UE that relates to a capability of the UE to switch an antenna for a plurality of bands that are included in a band combination of a set of band combinations supported by the UE, wherein at least two bands of the plurality of bands correspond to a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT respectively. The UE may signal the set of band combinations and the antenna switching capability to a base station. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: An apparatus may receive a downlink subframe from a serving base station. The downlink subframe may include interference associated with a second subframe transmitted by an intra-frequency neighboring cell (IFNC). The apparatus may detect whether there are interfering cell-specific reference signals (CRS) in one or more symbols of the second subframe. The apparatus may determine, based on whether interfering CRS are detected in the one or more symbols of the second subframe, a subframe type of the second subframe. The apparatus may cancel detected interfering CRS from the received downlink subframe based on the determined subframe type of the second subframe.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing a quantity of data sent carrier aggregation (CA) related capability reporting by a UE operating in a cell using full dimension multiple-input multiple-output (FD-MIMO) techniques. In an exemplary method, a base station obtains a relative weight of baseband processing for a component carrier (CC) configured for full-dimension multiple-input multiple-output (FD-MIMO) communications for a user equipment (UE); determines, based on the relative weight, to enable FD-MIMO downlink (DL) transmissions to the UE via the CC; and transmits an FD-MIMO transmission via the CC to the UE.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses for power control of transmissions on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with shortened transmission time intervals (sTTIs). According to certain aspects, a UE may calculate a transmit power for an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) report that is independent of an actual number of channel quality indicator (CQI) and precoding matrix indicator (PMI) bits to transmit in the A-CSI report. The UE may then transmit the A-CSI report in accordance with the calculated transmit power.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to reducing control overhead in a wireless communication system. For example, a network entity may determine to transmit data according to a codeword format based on at least one of a transmission time interval (TTI), or a traffic type of the data, or any combination thereof, and configure the data for transmission on a communication channel according to the codeword format. Further, for instance, a user equipment may receive a transmission from a network entity on a downlink communication channel according to a codeword format, and transmit at least one of an acknowledgement (ACK) or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) on an uplink communication channel in response to receiving the transmission from the network entity.
