Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a nominal time domain window duration and at least one of a quantity of nominal time domain windows or a quantity of actual time domain windows for demodulation reference signal bundling. The UE may calculate, in accordance with the quantity of nominal time domain windows being a single nominal time domain window or the quantity of actual time domain windows being a single actual time domain window, and in accordance with an indication that antenna switching is enabled, an adjusted nominal time domain window duration in accordance with applying a parameter to the nominal time domain window duration. The UE may calculate an adjusted quantity of nominal time domain windows and may identify a plurality of actual time domain windows. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be aboard an aerial vehicle such that the UE is above ground, and in some cases, moving above ground (e.g., flying). The UE may determine to perform an emergency communication procedure (e.g., an emergency call) while the UE meets one or more flying state conditions, where the one or more flying state conditions may be indicative that the UE is in a flying state. The UE may transmit a message to a base station as part of the emergency communication procedure, where the message may be indicative that the UE meets the one or more flying state conditions. The UE may participate in the emergency communication procedure while the UE is in the flying state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aerial user equipments (AUEs) may indicate flightpath information to the network (e.g., to a serving network entity). A network entity may request a flightpath report, which may include a sequence of expected geographic locations. An AUE may include estimated timestamps and uncertainty values associated with each timestamp with the flightpath report. Accordingly, the network may manage communications resources for the AUE accounting for the time and associated uncertainty that the AUE will be at each indicated point along the flightpath. A network entity may indicate a filter to apply to the flightpath report, and accordingly the AUE may report the portion of the flightpath that is relevant to the given network entity. The AUE may report the flightpath using an algebraic expression to reduce the amount of data as compared to a flightpath report that includes a set of waypoints.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a radio access network (RAN) node may transmit, to an access and mobility function (AMF) of a core network, a request associated with a location-based state of a user equipment (UE) served by the RAN node. For example, the location-based state of the UE may be associated with whether the UE is flying or whether the UE is driving. Accordingly, the RAN node may receive a message in response to the request. The RAN node may receive the message in response to the request from the AMF. Alternatively, the AMF may establish a connection between the RAN node and a location management function (LMF) of the core network such that the RAN node receives the message in response to the request from the LMF. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment may receive an indication of a pre-paging signal configuration for reception of a pre-paging signal associated with a first cell. The UE may monitor for the pre-paging signal from the first cell in response to one or more conditions being satisfied, the one or more conditions based at least in part on the pre-paging signal configuration. In some examples, the UE may receive, based on the monitoring, the pre-paging signal from the first cell, and the UE may output an alert message associated with receiving the pre-paging signal, the alert message indicating for the UE to be relocated to improve coverage.

Abstract: A method for obtaining flight path information comprises: receiving, at a network entity, a capability report indicating a capability of a UE to report a flight path of the UE; and transmitting, from the network entity, a flight path report message that requests the UE to provide: partial-path reporting by reporting first flight path information indicative of a portion of the flight path of the UE that is less than all of the flight path; or triggered reporting by reporting second flight path information in response to occurrence of a trigger event, the second flight path information indicative of at least some of the flight path of the UE; or differential reporting by reporting third flight path information indicative of a difference between a present flight path of the UE and a previous flight path of the UE; or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for altitude-dependent measurement and reporting configurations are described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, a measurement object configuration, where the measurement object configuration indicates at least one altitude parameter associated with a set of SSBs. The apparatus is also configured to measure a SSB value for each SSB in the set of SSBs based on the measurement object configuration and an altitude of the UE. An additional apparatus is configured to configure, for a UE, a measurement object configuration, where the measurement object configuration indicates at least one altitude parameter associated with a set of SSBs. The additional apparatus is also configured to provide the set of SSBs indicated in the measurement object configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit a flight path information request that indicates a differential flight path reporting configuration that is associated with user equipment (UE) flight path information associated with a UE. The network node may receive the UE flight path information, the UE flight path information being based at least in part on the differential flight path reporting configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.
