Abstract: A method of controlling a full duplex transceiver of a mobile wireless communication device includes: transmitting a transmit signal from a power amplifier of transmit circuitry of the full duplex transceiver, via a duplexer of the full duplex transceiver, to an antenna of the full duplex transceiver; receiving, via the antenna and the duplexer, a receive signal by receive circuitry of the full duplex transceiver; obtaining at least three voltage measurements from respective points between the power amplifier and the antenna; and providing at least one control signal, within the full duplex transceiver, based on the at least three voltage measurements.

Abstract: A low noise amplifier (LNA) reduces matching and switch noise. The LNA includes a main radio frequency signal path, an auxiliary radio frequency signal path and a phase shifter. The main path includes a first transistor and an inductor. The inductor is positioned between an input port of the LNA and the first transistor. The first transistor receives an input radio frequency signal via the inductor and provides a first amplified signal based on the input radio frequency signal. The auxiliary radio frequency signal path provides a second amplified signal for a noise cancellation mode based on the input radio frequency signal. The phase shifter applies a phase shift to an output signal of the LNA based on the first amplified signal and the second amplified signal.

Abstract: Devices and methods for detection of active return loss for an antenna element of a plurality of antenna elements of a phased array antenna are provided. An exemplary device can convert a voltage differential at an input of a power amplifier (PA) to first current. The device can convert a coupled voltage corresponding to a signal transmitted from the PA to a respective antenna element, to a second current. The device can convert a reflected voltage corresponding to a signal reflected from the respective antenna element, to a third current. The device can convert the first current, the second current, and the third current to an output voltage at a generator output. The device can further have a controller that can adaptively generate codebooks for transmission based on the output voltage.

Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to methods and apparatus for coexistent radio frequency (RF) systems in a wireless device. Control of a wireless device includes detecting when a turn on signal is issued to a first radio system, and then controlling the second radio system to either modify the operation of receiver circuitry in the second radio system to protect components within that system, or modify transmit circuitry to stop transmissions for protecting components within one radio system potentially affected by transmission from the other radio system in the wireless device. Disclosed also is monitoring of transmission states of the radio systems based on reading messages between the first and second radio systems and issuing a notification message based thereon such that one of the radio systems may suspend monitoring of a transmit channel for permission to transmit in order to reduce power consumption due to such monitoring of the channel.
