    Abstract: A random access configuration information based on a reference SCS may allow for a unified coordinate system used by the base station and UEs that describes the time-frequency resource configuration for a two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus receives, from a base station, random access configuration information for the base station. The apparatus determines a first time duration for a preamble of a first random access message based on the random access configuration information received from the base station and a reference SCS associated with an uplink BWP configured for the first random access message. The apparatus determines a second time duration for a payload of the first random access message based on the random access configuration information received from the base station and the reference SCS. The apparatus transmits the first message to the base station to initiate a random access procedure.

The radar server may provide the one or more transmit timing parameters to a first wireless communications system Transmission Reception Point (TRP) configured to use the one or more transmit timing parameters to send a transmit signal. The radar server may provide the one or more receive timing parameters to a second wireless communications system TRP configured to use the one or more receive timing parameters to receive an echo signal corresponding to a reflection of the transmit signal from a target.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a first base station (e.g., Rx gNB) receives, from a radar controller, a configuration of UL T-F resources for the first base station to receive at least one radar signal from a second base station. The first base station further determines power control parameter(s) associated with the at least one radar signal, at least one UL transmission, or a combination thereof. The first base station performs, based on the power control parameter(s), action(s) to mitigate impact by the at least one radar signal to the at least one UL transmission, or by the at least one UL transmission to the at least one radar signal, or a combination thereof. The first base station measures the at least one radar signal on the set of UL T-F resources in accordance with the configuration.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for opportunistic uplink transmissions within a slot. In some examples, after scheduling all regular uplink transmissions within a current slot, a base station (e.g., gNB) may identify a set of unused uplink resources within the current slot and generate and transmit unused resource information identifying the set of unused resources to the user equipment (UE) within the cell served by the base station. If a particular UE is configured to operate in an opportunistic mode, the UE may utilize the unused resource information to generate and transmit an opportunistic uplink transmission within the set of unused uplink resources.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for low density parity check (LDPC) interleaving with improved error floor performance. A method for wireless communications that may be provided by a transmitting device is provided. The method generally includes encoding one or more information bits using a LDPC code to produce a coded bit sequence comprising systematic bits and parity bits. The transmitting device stores the coded bit sequence in a circular buffer. The transmitting device performs rate matching on the coded bit sequence. The rate matching includes interleaving the parity bits with a partial interleaver and interleaving the systematic bits and interleaved parity bits with a systematic bit priority mapping (SBPM) interleaver. The transmitting device maps the SBPM interleaved bit sequence to constellation points according to a modulation scheme and transmits the modulated bit sequence.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for communicating based on improved signaling. A base station can transmit an indication of resources in time and frequency to a UE allocated for NOMA communication with the UE. The indication of resources can comprise a set of NA-RUs. The UE can then transmit uplink NOMA communication to the base station based on the indication of resources received from the base station. Also, the base station can transmit a compact UL resource grant via DCI, or signal the semi-static transport format configuration via RRC, to the UEs allocated for NOMA communication. The DCI or the payload of RRC signaling can be scrambled with a NOMA group RNTI, as well as comprise NOMA transmission parameters indicated by a MCS table. The UE can then transmit uplink NOMA communication to the base station based on the DCI or the RRC signaling.
