    Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for communicating with multiple subscriptions and dynamic spectrum sharing in a multi-subscriber identity module device are configured to scan for one or more first services corresponding to a first subscription and camp on a first service of the one or more first services corresponding to the first subscription on a first frequency band. The aspects are further configured to determine whether the first frequency band supports Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) and camp on a second service corresponding to a second subscription on the first frequency band in response to determining that the first frequency band supports the DSS. The aspects are further configured to scan for one or more second services corresponding to a second subscription in response to determining that the first frequency band does not support the DSS and camp on one of the one or more second services.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus facilitate securing access to applications. An apparatus includes a touch-sensitive display configured to display a plurality of objects representing a plurality of applications, the touch-sensitive display configured to receive a selection of a first object of the plurality of objects representing a first application of the plurality of applications. The apparatus also includes an authentication module coupled to the display. The authentication module is configured to receive biometric data in response to the selection of the first object, compare the received biometric data to a biometric template, and generate a match signal upon a determination that the received biometric data matches the biometric template. The apparatus also includes a processor configured to prevent access to the first application before the match signal is received, and enable access to the first application in response to the receipt of the match signal.

An example method of crowd sensing and/or environmental detection using radio frequency sensing with one or more wireless devices includes providing radio frequency sensing assistance data to one or more wireless devices, receiving radio frequency sensing reports from the one or more wireless devices, determining one or more environmental characteristics based on the radio frequency sensing reports.     Abstract: An under-display camera is positioned underneath a display of a mobile device. The under-display camera captures an image using light passing through a portion of the display. The mobile device displays a display image on the display, the display image based on the image. The mobile device displays an indicator overlaid over the display image on an indicator area of the display that overlaps with the portion of the display. The indicator may identify the position of the camera. The mobile device can compensate for occlusion of the camera by continuing to display a previous display image if a more recently captured image includes an occlusion. The mobile device can give users alternate ways to select areas of the display image to avoid camera occlusion, for instance using hardware buttons and/or touchscreen interface elements.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques are described herein for adjusting settings for capturing images. For instance, a method for adjusting settings for capturing images is provided. The method may include receiving a first frame from an image sensor; determining that the first frame is overexposed based on the first frame including a brightness value greater than a threshold; adjusting image-capture settings of the image sensor for a plurality of frames such that each frame of the plurality of frames is captured using a different exposure setting of a plurality of exposure settings; comparing at least one frame of the plurality of frames to the threshold to determine an anchor frame from the plurality of frames, wherein the anchor frame includes a brightness value below the threshold; and adjusting the image-capture settings of the image sensor based on an exposure setting of the anchor frame.
