摘要: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes decoding information received from a base station via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE determines whether to update channel state feedback based on the decoded information. The channel state feedback is updated based on the determination to generate updated channel state feedback. The updated channel state feedback is transmitted to the base station. The UE is configured to update the channel state feedback without an additional measurement of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS).

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to neural network based channel state information (CSI) feedback. In some aspects, a device may obtain a CSI instance for a channel, determine a neural network model including a CSI encoder and a CSI decoder, and train the neural network model based at least in part on encoding the CSI instance into encoded CSI, decoding the encoded CSI into decoded CSI, and computing and minimizing a loss function by comparing the CSI instance and the decoded CSI. The device may obtain one or more encoder weights and one or more decoder weights based at least in part on training the neural network model. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communication systems configured to share a shared spectrum with one or more other systems (e.g., other operator networks utilizing the same radio access technology, and/or other networks utilizing different radio access technologies). Coexistence between the different systems on the shared spectrum may be provided by utilizing a technology-neutral signature waveform such as a signature sequence. A device or system may monitor a shared spectrum channel for the signature waveform, and when detected, may determine whether the shared spectrum is available for that system, or busy as occupied by another system. When the shared spectrum channel is idle, the device or system may reserve the channel by transmitting the signature waveform. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

A wireless device (e.g., a user equipment and/or base station) may select a beam configuration for a wireless transmission over a channel of a radio frequency spectrum band. The wireless device may perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure on the channel using a LBT detection threshold, wherein the LBT detection threshold is based at least in part on the selected beam configuration. The wireless device may perform the wireless transmission over the channel using the selected beam configuration based at least in part on a success of the LBT procedure.

摘要: Soft channel reservation in shared spectrum networks is discussed. In network areas where multiple wireless nodes, whether from the same or different network operators, share spectrum using a channel reservation signaling form of contention resolution, an aggressor transmitter listens for a neighbor receiver's receiver channel reservation signal to the neighbor transmitter the neighbor receiver is in communication with. The receiver channel reservation signal includes channel condition information that the aggressor transmitter can use to estimate an interference impact at the neighbor receiver should the aggressor transmitter performs its transmissions to its own receivers. Based on whether this estimated interference impact exceeds or remains within a particular threshold, the aggressor transmitter may decide whether or not to back off of its transmissions until a later time.

A base station may perform a channel access procedure on a shared radio frequency spectrum band using a first beam configuration. The base station may transmit, based at least in part on successful completion of the channel access procedure, a reservation request message (RRQ) to a user equipment (UE) using a second beam configuration, the second beam configuration comprising a beam width that is equal to or narrower than a beam width of the first beam configuration. The base station may receive a reservation response message (RRS) from the UE in response to the RRQ, the RRS comprising a third beam configuration that is based at least in part on the second beam configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for monitoring interference level to selectively control usage of a contention-based protocol. In an example, a wireless device may transmit, while operating in a non-contention-based mode for a wireless link with a second wireless device, a first beamformed data transmission to the second wireless device over a shared channel. The wireless device may determine that an interference level condition is satisfied for the shared channel and transition from operating in the non-contention-based mode to operating in a contention-based mode for the wireless link based at least in part on the interference level condition being satisfied. The wireless device may perform a contention-based protocol, while operating in the contention-based mode for the wireless link with the second wireless device, prior to transmission of a second beamformed data transmission to the second wireless device over the shared channel.

摘要: Aspects for balancing power output on the plurality of antennas for the transmission of a transport block are disclosed. In accordance with the present disclosure, a transmitter may balance the power output on a plurality of transmit antennas in a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system by having a precoded data block bypass a virtual antenna mapping of the overhead channels (e.g., control channels). Additionally or alternatively, the transmitter may balance the power output on the plurality of transmit antennas by applying an inverse mapping parameter during the precoding process to the transport block to generate a plurality of inverse mapped precoded data blocks. In some examples, the inverse mapping parameter may be an inverse of the mapping parameter. Thus, in accordance with the present disclosure, precoding a transport block may include selecting a precoding weight for each of the plurality of antennas from an unrestricted precoding weight set.
