摘要: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and devices are described for transmitting a measurement report during wireless communications. When, for example, a low-power period (e.g., CDRX OFF period) is scheduled to begin during a time defined by a measurement event timer (TTT timer), a UE may modify the low-power period. The low-power period may be modified based, at least in part on determining the low-power period of the UE will begin during a time defined by a measurement event timer, a duration of the measurement event timer, and a duration of the low-power period. Modifying the low-power period may include delaying the start of the low-power state until after transmission of the MR associated with the measurement event timer or skipping the low-power period altogether. The UE may transmit the MR based, at least in part, on the modification.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a measurement gap configuration from a base station, wherein the measurement gap configuration includes a tune away period. The UE may determine whether one or more data traffic criteria are satisfied for the tune away period. The UE may disregard the measurement gap configuration based at least in part on the determination of whether the one or more data traffic criteria are satisfied. The UE may remain tuned to the base station during the tune away period based at least in part on the determination of whether the one or more data traffic criteria are satisfied. 摘要: Techniques and apparatus for early termination of decoding of communication channels for power saving in narrowband devices are provided. One technique includes monitoring for one or more first repetitions of at least one communication channel from a base station. The device determines, based on the monitoring, whether to refrain from monitoring for one or more second repetitions of the at least one communication channel. The device enters a low power mode if the determination is to refrain from monitoring for the one or more second repetitions of the at least one communication channel.

The instructions are also executable to determine, for the first measurement gap, whether a new cell is detected. The instructions are further executable to determine whether to skip a subsequent measurement gap based on whether the measured gain state matches the appointed gain state and whether a new cell is detected.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) determines to perform a synchronization procedure and receives at least one synchronization signal. The UE may generate a detection metric based at least in part on the at least one synchronization signal and compare the detection metric or detection metrics accumulated since determining to perform the synchronization procedure with a detection threshold. The detection threshold may be associated with the at least one synchronization signal utilized to determine whether the synchronization procedure can be terminated prior to receiving a predetermined number of synchronization signals. The UE may continue or terminate the synchronization procedure based at least in part on a result of the comparison.
