Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a physical uplink shared channel communication using a resource associated with a configured grant. The UE may transmit, in connection with transmitting the physical uplink shared channel communication, a scheduling request. A base station (BS) may monitor for the physical uplink shared channel communication and the scheduling request. The BS may selectively communicate with the UE to schedule a retransmission of the physical uplink shared channel communication based at least in part on a result of the monitoring. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction based on a tone reservation (TR) algorithm. For a TR algorithm, a suitable subset of tones from among a full set of tones in a given resource allocation are reserved for use as peak reduction tones (PRT). An apparatus such as a transmission/reception point receives a set of one or more PRT sequences and stores them in memory. The transmission/reception point then determines a set of PRTs based on one or more later-received PRT sequence selection parameters. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for DMRS allocation in sub-band FD. For transmission of UL data in a set of symbols having UL DMRS in at least one symbol, a UE may determine which symbol(s) in a subframe will receive DL DMRS so that the UE may align the transmission of the UL DMRS with a reception of the DL DMRS. For transmission of DL data in a set of symbols having a DL DMRS, a BS may determine for a first subset of symbols that a PUSCH will be received from the UE or determine for a second subset of symbols that a PUSCH will not be received from the UE. The BS insert a DL RS within the first subset of symbols or the second subset of symbols based on the determination regarding the PUSCH.

A first UE may experience the downlink transmission from the second base station as interference. The first UE may identify the set of downlink resources. The first UE may identify the subset of null resources. The first UE may transmit, to a first base station, an indication of the subset of null resources. The first base station may identify the second base station based on the indication of the subset of null resources. The first base station may transmit, to the second base station, an interference coordination message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information including an indication of a discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may receive a message including an indication to adjust monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and monitor for the PDCCH during the discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may adjust monitoring for the PDCCH following the discontinuous monitoring delay period during a temporal period based on the received indication to adjust monitoring of the PDCCH. In some examples, at least one of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception, downlink reference signal monitoring, uplink reference signal transmissions, and channel reporting is enabled during the temporal period while monitoring of the PDCCH is adjusted.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) determines an occurrence of a triggering event for providing negative acknowledgment (NACK) based feedback for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmission. The apparatus monitors for the SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits a NACK if the SPS transmission is not successfully received and refrains from sending an ACK if the SPS transmission is successfully received based on the occurrence of the triggering event for providing NACK based feedback. The base station determines an occurrence of a triggering event for a UE to provide NACK based feedback for an SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits the SPS transmission and determines that the UE successfully received the SPS transmission based on an absence of a NACK from the UE for the SPS transmission.

A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) message including an indication to enable discontinuous monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE may enable the discontinuous monitoring of the PDCCH based on the received DCI message, and disable monitoring of the PDCCH during a temporal period in which at least one of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception, downlink reference signal monitoring, uplink reference signal transmissions, and channel reporting is enabled. The UE may thereby experience power saving by disabling monitoring of the PDCCH while still performing other wireless operations during the temporal period. The UE may, as a result, also include features for improvements to wireless communications and, in some examples, may promote high reliability and low latency wireless communications, among other benefits.
