    摘要: Briefly, a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes an apparatus for tuning a regulator in a process controller. The digitized output from a standard relay and a parasitic relay are fed through digital to analog converter providing signals at 0.5&ohgr;c, &ohgr;c and 1.5&ohgr;c to the process, where &ohgr;c is the process critical frequency. The apparatus records the digitized relay output u′ and the digitized process output y′ until stationary oscillations are reached. The outputs u′ and y′ are then used to calculate the process frequency response at 0.50&ohgr;c, &ohgr;c and 1.5&ohgr;c. This data is then used to design the regulator, the output of which is converted to analog form and inputted to control the process.

    摘要: An energy-saving control system of rubber-tyred container gantry crane, wherein the diesel engine-electric generator set is controlled to stop when the crane is idle, and a storage device is utilized to supply power to an auxiliary system of the crane, the system comprises: a monitor unit, a charger, a super capacitor, a capacitor monitor module and an inverter. A charge signal is transmitted by the monitor unit when the crane being at an idle state is decided, the charge signal is received by the capacitor monitor module thereby a charge start signal is transmitted to control the charging of the super capacitor by the charger; the diesel engine-electric generator set is controlled to stop or to slow down when the super capacitor has been fully charged being detected by the monitor unit, the super capacitor is used for supplying the power to the auxiliary system of the crane, the direct current of the super capacitor is converted by the inverter to alternating current for supplying the auxiliary system. The energy-saving control system allows RTG to turn off the diesel engine-electric generator set and to implement the operation intermittently, the oil-saving rate of the entire RTG can reach above 40%.

From the first read amplitude of the first burst, it is determined which one of a multiple different sets of subsequent inner diameter steps to perform. Then, the one of the multiple different sets of subsequent inner diameter steps is performed to determine a read head width, a write head width, and a read-write offset between the read head and the write head.

    摘要: One way to minimize full DC head-skew re-calibrations rendered necessary by changes in storage media drive operating temperature is to compensate for temperature-induced DC head-skew using a known relationship between temperature-induced DC head-skew and storage media operating temperature. More specifically, a first DC head-skew is measured at a first arbitrary temperature of the storage media drive. A second DC head-skew is measured at a second arbitrary temperature of the storage media drive. A DC head-skew correction factor is calculated using the first and second DC head-skews at the first and second arbitrary temperatures. When a multi-head storage media drive is powered-up for operation, a temperature sensor located in the storage media drive assembly measures the current storage media drive temperature. The head-skew correction factor is applied based on the measured temperature to correct the DC head-skew.
