Abstract: A display method for reducing motion blur in a video is provided. The display method includes the following steps. Receive a video signal including multiple frames. Display the multiple frames sequentially in multiple frame intervals on a display panel, wherein each frame interval includes a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval. Provide a backlight enable signal in each frame interval to control turning on and turning off of a backlight unit for the display panel. The backlight enable signal includes a first enable pulse. The first enable pulse is in the data scan interval. The backlight unit is turned on during the first enable pulse.

Abstract: An anti-flicker and motion-blur improvement method includes selecting one of display modes, obtaining a vertical synchronization signal and a data clock signal, and setting waveforms of a backlight driving signal in a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval according to the display mode to make a motion blur effect correspond to the display mode. A voltage regulation signal is generated according to the display mode. A duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a first duty cycle in a dynamic image display mode. The duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a second duty cycle in a still image display mode. A backlight driving current corresponding to the backlight driving signal is generated via the voltage regulation signal. A current setting port generates a constant current. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the motion blur phenomenon by simplifying the backlight control circuit.

Abstract: An image display device is provided. The image display device includes a display unit and a backlight module. The display unit is used for displaying pictures in an image frame cycle. The backlight module includes a plurality of light sources of different colors. The image frame cycle is divided into a first interval, a second interval and a third interval in sequence, and the second interval is adjacent to the first interval. The backlight module provides a white light source with a first intensity in the first interval and provides a white light source with a second intensity in the second interval, and the second intensity is smaller than the first intensity.
