Abstract: Two current carrying paths, each connected between a different clock pulse terminal and a common capacitive output node, each path including a field-effect transistor in series with a diode. The diodes are poled to permit the node to be charged when one transistor is turned on and discharged when the other transistor is turned on. The clock pulses, during one time interval, cause current to flow through the one of the paths with the turned on transistor, and during the following time interval prevent current flow in either path.

Abstract: Multiplexed operation of a plurality of liquid crystal indicators is achieved with alternating, unipolarity, symmetrical exciting voltages and alternating, unipolarity, asymmetrical erase voltages. The average direct voltage level across any liquid crystal element in the erased condition is zero and the direct voltage level across that element during each half period of the exciting voltage is never greater than a fraction less than one-half of the unipolarity exciting or erase voltage amplitude.

Abstract: A multivibrator circuit which can be selectively operated in a monostable mode or an astable mode. In the astable mode, either gatable or free-running operation is permitted. In the monostable mode, the multivibrator circuit can be arranged to operate on either the positive-going or the negative-going edge of a trigger signal. Control logic circuitry renders the duration of the input signal inconsequential in affecting the duration of the output signal. An improved oscillator circuit portion permits faster recovery thereof whereby the multivibrator circuit can operate more rapidly.
