摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for aligning print heads (5) in relation to continuous printed material. According to the invention, to align the print heads (5) in relation to one another, the latter are displaced transversally to the direction of printing (6) and to align the print heads (5) in the direction of printing, the injection times of the print heads are temporally controlled. The print heads (5) can be precisely and simply aligned by the mechanical adjustment of only one axis.

摘要: A printing device includes a plurality of print heads, each of which has a printing zone. An extension of this printing zone in a direction of printing defines a line height and an extention of this printing zone perpendicular to the direction of printing defines a column width. The printing heads are arranged in several parallel rows which are located at a distance from one another. The print heads in different rows are offset in relation to each other direction perpendicular to the direction of printing. A separation distance between the print heads in each row corresponds to the column width multiplied by the number of rows. The distance between the rows corresponds to the line height multiplied by the number of rows plus one.

摘要: A dryer is used for drying a web of material. The dryer includes a passage duct for the material web. Drying takes place within this passage duct which includes at least one straight section. The dryer is disposed on a printing group which includes vertical web guidance. The passage duct straight section is essentially horizontal and receives the web of material delivered to it by the printing group. The passage duct is comprised of at least two sections through which the web of material travels in opposite directions.

摘要: A system is provided for tempering, or controlling the temperature of a printing machine to maintain a desired temperature by the use of a cooling device. The cooling device prepares, on a first output, a tempering medium having at least one first desired temperature level, for a first supply current of the tempering medium for the components whose temperatures are to be controlled. The cooling device provides a first cooling process which can be carried out by a first fluid circuit. Tempering medium, which is to be cooled to a tempering temperature that is below the ambient, or an external temperature, are provided. A second cooling process is carried out by a device for cooling a second fluid circuit which is different from the first fluid circuit, by the use of outside air. The supply circuit, that is used to convey the tempering medium of the desired temperature, to the component whose temperature is to be controlled, can be coupled, in a thermal manner, to both of the cooling processes by the use of at least one heat exchanger.

摘要: Vibrations of a cylinder, which is a part of a web-processing machine, and particularly a printing machine, are dampened. A functional correlation is determined for a course of a force of a channel passage through a nip point defined by the cylinder and a second cylinder. The functional correlation is pre-defined up to a scaling factor determining the height as a time course for an actuator force time course and is stored in a control or a regulating device. The vibration, or an amplitude of the vibration is measured during the operation of at least part of the cylinder by the use of a sensor. A maximum vibration amplitude on the roll body of the cylinder is then calculated from the measuring value. The actuators are controlled by the control or regulating device according to the pre-defined actuator force time course.

摘要: A forme cylinder is supported and adjusted in a printing group of a rotary printing press, which group includes a transfer cylinder and a counter-pressure cylinder, which two cylinders include interacting support elements. The forme cylinder does not include a support element which interacts with the transfer cylinder. The forme cylinder has a shaft distance that can be adjusted during printing to adjust a contact pressure between the forme cylinder and the transfer cylinder. The forme cylinder may be covered with a waterless printing forme. The contact pressure between the forme cylinder and the transfer cylinder can be adjusted to a property, such as the compressibility, of the waterless printing forme.

摘要: A printing plate is prepared for the insertion of images by applying an ink accepting layer and an ink repelling layer to it. A developing fluid is sprayed onto the ink repelling layer by an ink jet printing group. The developing fluid is sprayed in the image to be printer and the ink repelling layer is etched or dissolved in the sprayed area. The etched or dissolved areas of the ink repelling layer are removed. The method is particularly adapted for use with a waterless printing plate having an ink repelling layer of silicon.
