摘要: A patient interface assembly includes a cushion assembly, and air delivery tube, and a connector assembly. The cushion assembly includes a flexible cushion including a base and a pair of nasal pillows that extend from the base and a frame that is more rigid than the flexible cushion. The connector assembly connects the air delivery tube to the cushion assembly and includes and elbow with a second end with a part spherical ball shape and a gas washout vent with a plurality of vent openings. The connector assembly also includes an elbow connector positioned in the frame. The elbow connector forms a part spherical socket shape that engages the part spherical ball shape of the elbow. The elbow connector includes an anchoring flange, which is configured to secure the flexible cushion to the elbow connector by way of the anchoring flange being inserted into the flexible cushion through a central opening in the flexible cushion.

摘要: Aspects of the present technology comprise a positioning and stabilising structure to hold a seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on a head of a patient. The seal-forming structure may be constructed and arranged to form a seal with a region of the patient's face surrounding an entrance to the patient's airways for sealed delivery of a flow of air at a therapeutic pressure of at least 4 cmH2O with respect to ambient air pressure throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise at least one gas delivery tube to deliver the flow of air to the entrance of a patient's airways via the seal-forming structure. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise an adjustment mechanism for adjustment of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to enable the positioning and stabilising structure to fit different size heads.

摘要: A patient interface system for delivering a flow of breathable gas to a user includes a patient interface structure configured to sealingly engage the face of the user. The patient interface system further includes an elbow and connector assembly adapted to receive gases from a flow generator and deliver the gases to the patient interface structure. The elbow and connector assembly includes a ring attached to the patient interface, a sleeve, and an elbow. The ring includes an inner flange, an outer flange separated from the inner flange by a channel, and a plurality of vent slots extending through the inner flange, across the channel, and through the outer flange. The sleeve is configured so that inserting the sleeve into the ring forms a plurality of vent paths for the venting of exhalation gases from an interior of the patient interface to an exterior of the patient interface through the vent slots.

摘要: A vent arrangement is provided to a mask to discharge exhaled gas from the mask to atmosphere. The vent arrangement is structured to diffuse the exhaust vent flow to produce less air jetting, thereby increasing the comfort of the patient and their bed partner. The vent may include a first wall, a second wall defining an outer perimeter, and a plurality of gas washout vent holes positioned between the first wall and the second wall, the vent holes having an inner edge positioned within the outer perimeter of the second wall.

摘要: A mask system includes a frame adapted to attach headgear, a sealing arrangement releasably connectable to the frame, and an elbow provided to the sealing arrangement and adapted to be connected to an air delivery tube that delivers breathable gas to the patient. The sealing arrangement defines a breathing chamber and is adapted to form a seal with the patient's face. The sealing arrangement includes structure to establish a positive connection with the frame and with the elbow.

The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise at least one gas delivery tube to deliver the flow of air to the entrance of a patient's airways via the seal-forming structure. The at least one gas delivery tube may be constructed and arranged to contact, in use, at least a region of the patient's head superior to an otobasion superior of the patient's head. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise an adjustment mechanism for adjustment of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to enable the positioning and stabilising structure to fit different size heads. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise a bias mechanism to impart a biasing force along at least a part of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to urge the seal-forming structure towards the entrance of the patient's airways in use.
