摘要： A respiratory apparatus includes components to protect operations of the apparatus. For example, in some versions, the apparatus may include a power supply, a motor powered by the power supply, and a transient absorption diode circuit between the motor and the power supply. The transient absorption diode circuit may be configured to absorb energy generated by the motor from rotational kinetic energy. Such absorption may serve to protect the components of the apparatus. In some examples, the apparatus may include a fault mitigation integrated circuit (IC). The IC circuit may be included in the respiratory apparatus to detect one or more faults based on physical and system parameters of the apparatus. The fault mitigation integrated circuit may generate a signal to stop the motor based on the detected fault, and may digitally communicate with a processor information about the detected fault.

The at least one inlet tube is axially spaced from the at least one flow tube.

摘要： A blower comprises a housing, an inlet to receive air, an outlet to deliver a flow of air and a deformable member configured to pump a chamber. The deformable member may be configurable to a first configuration and a second configuration, for example by electrical energy that may be applied as current or voltage. The blower may comprise a plurality of chambers, wherein each chamber may be compressed out of phase with each other, for example such that the flow rate of the generated air flow may not fluctuate as much. In other forms, the blower may comprise a plurality of chambers that vary in size.

摘要： A flow generator includes a blower, a flow generator outlet configured to receive an end of a gas delivery tube, and a controller. The flow generator outlet includes electrical connectors configured to contact corresponding electrical connectors associated with the breathable gas delivery tube when the breathable gas delivery tube is received by the flow generator outlet. The controller includes a tube-type detect circuit and is configured to receive signals from the breathable gas delivery tube by way of the electrical connectors of the flow generator outlet. The tube-type detect circuit is configured so that when the breathable gas delivery tube is received by the flow generator outlet, the tube-type detect circuit determines the type of breathable gas delivery tube based on signals from the electrical connectors of the flow generator outlet that are indicative of a condition of a resistor associated with the breathable gas delivery tube.

摘要： A heated conduit is configured to connect to and receive pressurized breathable gas from a respiratory unit. The heated conduit includes a first cuff that includes an air inlet portion and an electrical connector portion that is adjacent the air inlet portion and comprises three electrical terminals that are configured to engage a respiratory unit electrical connector. The heated conduit also includes a second cuff comprising an air outlet and a flexible tube portion with a first end connected to the first cuff, a second end connected to the second cuff, and a spiral rib structure wrapped around a central lumen. A grouping of wires is supported within the spiral rib structure of the flexible tube portion and include a pair of heating wires and a signal wire. A sensing device extends into the gas flow path from an interior surface of the second cuff and is configured to output a signal indicative of the condition inside the heated conduit.
