    摘要: A generalized hardware architecture that supports built-in self testing (BIST) for a range of different computer memory configurations and a generalized BIST algorithm can be compiled, based on specified configuration characteristics (e.g., the number of write ports, the number of read ports, the number of entries, and the number of bits per entry in the computer memory), to generate the hardware design for a particular computer memory system. In one embodiment, the generalized hardware architecture includes a multiplexer block that enables a single BIST comparator to be multiplexed for use in performing BIST testing via different read ports of the computer memory.

    摘要: The present invention is a system and method of testing logic circuits in memory of an integrated circuit in a fraction of the time. The present invention discloses a system and method to allow testing imbedded array logic blocks in parallel, rather than sequentially. The present invention allows for the testing of multiple logic blocks associated with different memory or column locations at the same time. This technique allows for reduction in test time by a factor of X, where X is the number of rows or columns or memory cells feeding logic.

    摘要: A method for substituting inert gas for ambient air in the headspace of a container prior to closing of an opening of the container. The container is displaced along a straight path in a predetermined horizontal direction from a first position to a second position, e.g., by a conveyor. A stream of inert gas is injected generally downward from an outlet toward the headspace via an inverted recess as the container travels from the first position to the second position along the path. The inverted recess has a peripheral edge which is a closed contour lying in a horizontal plane. The exit velocity of the inert gas at the outlet and the dimensions of the outlet are such that the flow of inert gas from the outlet into the headspace is generally laminar. A portion of the inert gas enters the headspace to displace gases inside the headspace until less than 1% oxygen remains in the headspace. The gas which has been displaced out of the headspace is then channeled to flow in the predetermined horizontal direction through a volume located at an elevation which is higher than the elevation of the headspace. The channeled gas is thereafter redirected in a generally downward direction.

    摘要: Electronic game systems with player-controllable security for display images are described. In one implementation, an exemplary multiplayer system hides the identity of virtual game artifacts, such as playing cards, being displayed as images, but allows the player to whom the virtual game artifacts are assigned to view the identities of the virtual game artifacts at will. A sensor or a player-controlled device, such as a switch or a touch screen display, can change a display image in order to hide or reveal at least part of the identity of the virtual game artifact. The display image being secured by the system can be a virtual representation of a playing card, die, dice, domino, game tile, game-piece, roulette number, slot symbol, icon, or token. The system can also shield the identity of the virtual game artifact while the display image is at one visual size, and reveal the identity of the virtual game artifact when shrinking the visual size of the display image to afford security.
