    摘要: A motor stator mounting device includes a plastic motor housing having a cylindrical housing section for receiving the stator. Longitudinal ribs along an inside surface of the housing section are inclined to converge gradually in a distal direction, thus tending to center a stator inserted distally into the housing section. An annular stator retaining member includes a plurality of distally extending centering features. Outside surfaces of the centering features interact with an interior surface of the housing section to center the retaining member as it is inserted distally. Inside surfaces of the centering features interact with a proximal region of a previously inserted stator, such that distal insertion of the retaining member both axially positions and radially centers the stator relative to the cylindrical housing. The retaining member is secured to the housing with a series of sonic welds to positionally fix the stator inside the housing.

    摘要: A motor stator mounting device includes a plastic motor housing having a cylindrical housing section for receiving the stator.     摘要: A zero clearance bearing assembly comprising a housing defining a generally cylindrical bearing chamber with a pair of ball bearing units disposed therein. One unit is adjacent an axial thrust reaction surface of frusto-conical configuration and a shoulder on an associated shaft urges the unit into engagement with the surface. The other unit is press fit on the shaft and also has a shaft shoulder urging it toward the thrust surface. An air impeller on the shaft urges the same toward the other bearing unit and the thrust unit reacts to both the impeller load and an axial preload spring engaging the other bearing unit. One or both of the bearing units is provided with an improved radial preload device comprising a spring and a pair of circumaxially spaced reaction surfaces opposing the same.

    摘要: A motor mounting device includes a polymeric motor housing having a cylindrical housing section for receiving motor components including a rotor. The housing section incorporates a detent feature disposed along the interior surface, with the interior surface inclined to gradually converge in a distal direction. The housing further has a distal end section that includes a first bearing seat centered on the housing axis. A rotor retaining member has an annular outer surface terminating at an arcuate peripheral edge, and comprises a second bearing seat. The rotor retaining member is insertable distally into the cylindrical housing section, following insertion of a rotor, to engage the first and second bearing seats respectively with distal and proximal bearings on a rotor shaft, to secure the rotor for rotation relative to the housing. During such insertion, the retaining member outer surface and the interior surface of the cylindrical housing section interact to center the retaining member.

    摘要: The invention generally relates to a method and apparatus for collecting condensate from process streams in an integrated fuel cell system. In one aspect, the invention provides a water management subsystem for a fuel cell system. A gas conduit contains a gas at a first pressure. A water tank in the system contains water at a certain level. The water tank has an inlet orifice below the water level. A drain conduit has a first end and a second end. The drain conduit is connected at the first end to the gas conduit, and the drain conduit is connected at the second end to the inlet orifice of the water tank. The water level and the inlet orifice have a vertical height of water between them corresponding to a head pressure greater than the first pressure.
