Abstract: The present technology is directed to a respiratory pressure therapy system, that includes a plenum chamber pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure above ambient air pressure, a seal-forming structure to form a seal with an entrance to the patient's airways to maintain said therapeutic pressure in the plenum chamber throughout the patient's respiratory cycle in use, a positioning and stabilising structure constructed and arranged to provide an elastic force to hold the seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on the patient's head, a blower configured to generate the flow of air and pressurise the plenum chamber to the therapeutic pressure, the blower having a motor, the blower being connected to the plenum chamber such that the blower is suspended from the patient's head and the axis of rotation of the motor is perpendicular to the patient's sagittal plane, and a power supply configured to provide electrical power to the blower.

Abstract: In a cross section of a flow passage formed to conduct a flow of air from an inside/outside air box to an upper air passage of a scroll casing while the cross section of the flow passage is taken along an imaginary plane which includes an outer edge of an air guide plate and is parallel to a rotational axis of an impeller, a passage section, which is located on one radial side of a separation tube where a nose of the scroll casing is placed, is defined as a first opening section, and another passage section, which is located on an opposite radial side of the separation tube, which is opposite to the nose, is defined as a second opening section. A passage cross-sectional area of the second opening section is larger than a passage cross-sectional area of the first opening section.

In the first region and the second region, a ratio of the turbo blade portion in the radial direction is larger than a ratio of the sirocco blade portion in the radial direction.

The dual-sided fan is mounted to the rotor assembly adjacent the rear end poles within the housing. The dual-sided fan includes a separating wall, drive end blade set, and rear end blade set. The drive end blade set extends from a first side of the separating wall and at least partially faces the drive end. The rear end blade set extends from a second side of the separating wall and at least partially faces the rear end.

Abstract: A blower includes a fan that causes momentum to air by rotation, a shaft that defines a rotation axis of the fan, a bearing that supports the shaft outside of the fan, and a weight that is movable in a direction of rotation of the fan. In the fan, the weight is located opposite to the bearing with respect to an end of the fan adjacent to the bearing, and thus an increase in weight by the weight can be reduced.
