    摘要: A percutaneous ostomy implant for implantation into the abdominal wall of a patient is provided, which includes a connecting member for mounting an external detachable device thereto; a first tubular ingrowth member depending from the connecting member; and a second tubular ingrowth member depending from the connecting member and being radially outwardly spaced from the first tubular ingrowth member. The first tubular ingrowth member is configured and dimensioned to receive a bowel segment within it to allow the stoma and serosal tissue of that bowel segment to infiltrate the first tubular ingrowth member. The second tubular member is configured and dimensioned to abut dermal tissue to allow the dermal tissue to infiltrate the second tubular ingrowth member, thereby securing and sealing the ostomy implant to the dermis.

    摘要: A modular surgical kit for repair of diseased cartilage at an articulating surface of a joint and a design method for a modular surgical kit are disclosed. The modular surgical kit is adapted for removal of damage cartilage and bone and also adapted for insertion of a medical implant a grafted plug or an artificial plug having an implant body with a predetermined cross-sectional profile and adapted for guiding insert tools during repair of diseased cartilage at an articulating surface of a joint. The modular surgical kit includes an implant, and a medical implant a grafted plug or an artificial plug having an implant body with a predetermined cross-sectional profile a guide base having a positioning body with a guide hole through said positioning body and a guide body with a guide channel, the guide channel having a cross-sectional profile that is designed to correspond to the cross-sectional profile of the implant body and having a muzzle. The modular surgical kit includes a drill adjustment device being arranged to enable adjustment of the drill depth. The positioning body has a cartilage contact surface that is designed to fit the contour of cartilage or subchondral bone in the joint in a predetermined area surrounding the site of diseased cartilage. The guide hole has a muzzle on the cartilage contact surface at a position corresponding to the site of the diseased cartilage. The positioning body includes a device for releasably connecting to the guide body such that, when connected, the guide channel is positioned in relation to the positioning body such that its muzzle emanates at a site corresponding to the site of implantation into the bone.

    摘要: The invention relates to an adapter attached to a human or animal body at a stoma, a detachable lid on the adapter, and a connector for connecting an ostomy bag to the adapter. The adapter includes a protruding section extending from the stoma, and a member for mounting a detachable lid onto the end of the protruding section. The adapter and lid are arranged such that the lid can be slid onto and off the adapter in a direction relatively perpendicular to the axis of the protruding section of the adapter. The connector is arranged to connect the ostomy bag to the adapter and to slide the lid off the adapter. In this way, there is no risk of odors or waste leaking from the adapter or the ostomy bag while the bag is being connected to the adapter.

The syringe includes an injection needle, a tubular cylinder having a free opening at a first end, an end part with a through hole for slidably accommodating the injection needle at an opening of a second end of the tubular cylinder opposite the free opening, a piston reciprocally accommodated in the cylinder, a piston rod attached to the piston and extending into the cylinder through the free opening of the cylinder, a coupling for interlocking the piston and the injection needle at least in the reverse direction of the injection piston stroke. The coupling has two coupling parts, one of which is attached to the piston and the other of which is attached to the injection needle. The coupling parts are spaced from each other during at least part of the injection stroke and interlock during withdrawal.

The infusion set includes a fluid container for the infusion fluid, an injection needle for injecting the infusion fluid into the patient's body, a flow regulator having a housing with an inlet, which communicates with the fluid container, and an outlet, which communicates with the injection needle via a fluid duct, at least one fluid chamber in the housing, at least one floater placed in the at least one fluid chamber. Moreover the infusion set comprises an inlet throttle and/or closure valve that includes a valve seat formed on the housing at the inlet and a corresponding inlet valve body connected with the floater at an axial distance from the at least one floater by at least one connector, an air gap formed between the inlet valve body and the floater, and at least one opening in the at least one connector for allowing fluid communication between the inlet throttle and/or closure valve and the housing. The flow regulator automatically regulates, with optimal comfort and safety for the patient, the flow of fluid by means of a simple and inexpensive construction allowing the nurses to watch and evaluate the progress of the infusion process through the window.

    摘要: A molding arrangement serves for molding articles at each stroke of an injection-molding machine in which an injection mold is mounted. The articles are composed of components made of different materials in cavities formed in the injection mold, with each cavities corresponding to the shape of a component whereby identical cavities are separated by angular distances and placed at equal distances from a central axis of the injection mold and parts of the cavities are formed in a separately movable section of the movable mold half. The injection molding arrangement includes an operation part for displacing the section to-and-fro between closed and open positions of the injection mold and in open positions to turn the section about the central axis angles corresponding to the angles between the cavities to form whole cavities in the injection mold in closed position.

    摘要: This invention relates to a positioning system for positioning a positioning unit along a longitudinal axis. The positioning system comprises a linear guide arrangement for enabling a linearly guided motion parallel to said axis, wherein the positioning unit is operatively connected to said guide arrangement. Furthermore, the positioning system comprises a motor, wherein the motor comprises a moving motor member operatively connected to said linear guide arrangement and an elongated stationary motor member extending parallel to said axis. The moving motor member is adapted to move along the stationary motor member for providing motion parallel to said axis. Moreover, the positioning system further comprises a force transmission arrangement which operatively connects said moving motor member to the positioning unit. The force transmission arrangement is arranged to provide an engagement between said positioning unit and said moving motor. The engagement is rigid in a direction parallel to said axis for instantaneous transmission of a linear force, and is resilient in directions other than said direction parallel to said axis, whereby transmission to the positioning unit of forces arising from thermal expansion of the motor is reduced or eliminated.
