    摘要: A high pressure gas/oil separator comprising a pressure vessel with a magnetically driven hollow shaft extending thereinto. The shaft has a slinger at its lower end within the vessel. The upper end of the shaft is in communication with a source of the gas/oil mixture. The vessel has a purified gas outlet above the slinger. Gas/oil mixture is thrown by centrifugal force against walls of the vessel and the oil coalesces on the walls and drains to the bottom of the vessel. The purified gas escapes from the vessel through the outlet port.

    摘要: This invention relates to a shifting stem metering valve that is magnetically actuated. A driven magnet assembly is rotatably supported in a nonmagnetic pressurizable bonnet fixed to the main valve body. The driven magnet assembly preferably comprises rare earth cobalt magnets defining an even number of north and south poles. A cylindrical holder coaxial with and surrounding said tubular bonnet is rotatably secured thereto. The holder carries driving magnets, preferably rare earth cobalt magnets with an even number of north and south poles. Rotation of the holder results in rotation of the driven magnet assembly. A stepping motor or the like controls the rotation of the driven magnet assembly. A valve stem is connected to the driven magnet assembly in a manner such that turning of the driven magnet assembly shifts the stem which in turn adjusts the valve opening.

    摘要: A centrifugal pump for circulating fluids at high pressure comprises an impeller having an axis of rotation, a casing defining a pumping chamber, a nonmagnetic canister sealed at one end and extending away from the pumping chamber surrounding an extension of the impeller axis, and an impeller shaft journaled in the nonmagnetic canister. The shaft has mounted thereto circumferentially magnetized rare earth cobalt magnets. A drive magnet assembly comprising a sleeve is journaled about the nonmagnetic canister with circumferentially magnetized rare earth cobalt magnets mounted therein. Rotation of the sleeve results in synchronous rotation of the impeller and impeller shaft.

    摘要: A high temperature and high pressure consistometer comprises a cylindrical pressure vessel having an integral bottom and a cover for said pressure vessel. A nonmagnetic canister extends downwardly from said bottom and is sealed therein. A driven magnet assembly is journaled in said canister. A drive shaft is connected to said driven magnet assembly extending into said vessel. A nonmagnetic canister extends upwardly from the cover and is sealed therein. A driving magnet assembly is journaled in said canister. A shaft connected to said driving magnet assembly extends downwardly into said vessel. A driven magnet assembly is mounted for rotation on the exterior of the downwardly extending canister and a driven magnet assembly is mounted for rotation on the exterior of the upwardly extending canister. A sample cup is connected to the upwardly extending drive shaft and a paddle is connected to the downwardly extending shaft. External the vessel is positioned an instrument for measuring the torque magnetically transferred from the shaft carrying the paddle to the driven magnet assembly. External the vessel is a motor for causing the driving magnet assembly to rotate at a constant speed to thereby drive the cup within the vessel at a constant speed.
