    摘要： An equipment tray of sheet metal having a base with a bottom section and a set of four sides integral to the bottom section with each of the four sides extending outward from the base to form a compartment therein and at least one of the sides having a beveled lip extending along a first portion of the side to provide stiffness to the base to avoid the “oil can effect” occurring with sheet metal trays. A further feature of the inventions is the inclusion of a cover retaining slot formed in the base by having a second portion of a side configured to coact with a beveled edge to form a cover retaining slot between the second portion of the side and the beveled edge to prevent lateral movement of the cover.

    摘要： A concave, multi-planed scooter for performing riding tricks having handles attached to at least one end of the scooter's generally concave riding platform for a person, who is supported by the platform and riding the scooter, to hold onto. The handles are angled such that a rider's feet are placed properly for a well-centered riding position. The improved scooter has a wheel assembly attached to the underside of the platform beam in a directional aligmnent that provides the various planar surfaces of the riding platform with relatively wider or relatively tighter turning radii. Moreover, the wheel assembly may be mounted by a pinion nut system that allows the scooter ease in steering and includes an adjustment lock-nut for tight or loose steering. The two center wheel assemblies may be mounted on wedge-shaped spacers that position the wheel assemblies away from the underside of the platform beam for better stability and shock absorption. The scooter also has a decelerator consisting of a decelerator seat and decelerator pad attached to the underside of the platform beam, which pad is easily replaced when worn by removal of a screw or other means for fastening the decelerator to the underside of the platform beam.

    摘要： A portable tester for local area networks comprising a AUI circuit coupled to a media specific transceiver, a battery, a push-to-test switch and four light emitting diodes and an RJ45 jack for each of a personal computer and a network hub. When the push-to-test switch is pushed, power is applied to the media access unit and a link pulse is generated for coupling via a PC jack to a personal computer plugged into that jack. The link pulse is also coupled to any network hub plugged into a hub jack. The PC and network hub cannot both be simultaneously connected. If whichever unit is connected receives the link pulse and generates its own link pulse which is received by the tester, a link status LED is lit green. Otherwise, it is left dark. If the unit connected outputs a data packet in response to receipt of the link pulse, a receive data LED is lit green. Otherwise, it is left dark. If the link pulse is positive-going on the correct line, a polarity LED is lit green. Otherwise, it is left dark.

    摘要： An improved cast cylinder head for a high performance internal combustion engine is provided by an especially configured quench surface from which a contoured combustion chamber extends having a metal mass buildup shrouding the exhaust gases through the exhaust valve seat. A metal mass buildup configuration is also provided about the intake valve seat which acts in conjunction with an especially configured and proportioned valve intake passage to draw the fuel-air mixture into the combustion chamber in an unshrouded, helical flow pattern. The intake passageway configuration is such that a rich fuel-air mixture is drawn through the intake valve seat at a portion thereof remote from said exhaust valve seat while a lean fuel-air mixture exits the intake valve seat adjacent the exhaust valve seat. Positioning the fuel-air mixture in such a manner in combination with the unshrouded metal mass buildup minimizes short-circuiting of the fuel through the exhaust valve seat in a valve overlap condition.
