摘要： Apparatus and methods to facilitate fixation of a fracture are disclosed. These apparatus include a bone plate for the fixation of a fractured bone having a plurality of fastener openings so that the bone plate may be secured by a plurality of fasteners across a reduced fracture to fixate a reduced fracture. The bone plate is configured to flex in situ to conform to the surface of the bone while providing sufficient stiffness in the plane of the device to resist forces and moments in the plane. Methods of use of the present invention include fastening the bone plate to a first side of the fracture, flexing portions of the bone plate to bias against the bone surface on the second side of the fracture, fastening the portions of the bone plate so biased to the second side of the fracture, thereby fixating the fracture by fastening the bone plate to the second side of the fracture.

摘要： Apparatus to facilitate reduction and fixation of a fracture by drawing together the fracture by applying tension to a reduction wire are disclosed. These apparatus include a bone plate for the fixation of a fractured bone having a plurality of fastener openings so that the bone plate may be secured by a plurality of fasteners across a reduced fracture to fixate a reduced fracture. The bone plate is configured with a channel that receives a reduction wire so that the reduction wire may extend between the bone plate and a reduction wire mount such as a bone screw. Methods of use of the present invention include fastening the bone plate to a first side of the fracture, fastening a reduction wire mount to a second side of the fracture, fastening a reduction wire to the reduction wire mount, receiving the reduction wire in the channel, applying tension to the reduction wire to draw the bone plate and the reduction wire mount together thereby reducing the fracture, and fixating the fracture by fastening the bone plate to the second side of the fracture.

摘要： An LED having two pins that handle contingencies of open, static electricity, and surge comprises an LED cell, a thyristor, such as SCR, with three electrodes arranged in series connection to the LED cell, a transistor for a gate of the thyristor to trigger signals, and a voltage detecting circuit. When the LED cell breaks due to open, a proper current is acquired via the voltage detecting circuit so as to trigger the SCR, thereby providing a substitute current route that allows the rest of the serially-connected LED cells to keep lighting. When static electricity or surge occurs at two ends of the LED cells, the SCR provides a route to guide the static electricity or the surge, which protects the LED cells.

摘要： A remotely provisioned proxy within a wireless/mobile phone that proxies a wireless communication path between a disconnected piconet (e.g., BLUETOOTH™) device and a network resource such as a universal resource locator (URL) via a mating mobile phone. Thus, an application proxy module embodied within the mobile phone provides managed access of a piconet device connected to the mating mobile phone to remote services. A disconnected piconet device uses the full data bandwidth available to a wireless phone, without the need for the disconnected piconet device to include its own separate wireless front end, or to require use of a modem within the mobile phone. Thus, using a mobile phone with application proxy, the user need not pay for the luxury of a tethered data plan.

摘要： A laminated heat-dissipating and non-disposable LED lamp includes a lamp holder, an LED luminous module, a lampshade and a heat dissipation unit. The lamp holder is provided with a hollow shell, the LED luminous module is assembled on the lamp holder and the lampshade is mounted on the LED luminous module. The heat dissipation unit is covered around the circumferential side of the lamp holder, instituted of a multi-ply heat-dissipating layer. By so designing, heat energy produced by the LED lamp can be transmitted to the heat dissipation unit, and the heat-dissipating layer can function to increase a heat dissipation area and a heat dissipation distance of contact of the LED lamp with open air, able to prolong service life and enhance luminous efficiency of the LED lamp and also reduce electronic waste.

摘要： Circuits and methods for controlling a VCO output signal. A filtered version of an integral path input signal controls current flow through a proportional path. An exemplary embodiment generates an integral path input signal from a digital to analog converter. First integral path circuitry includes a first transistor device and a low pass filter which provides a filtered version of the integral path input signal to a first transistor device to control conduction through the device, providing a first VCO input signal for frequency adjustment of the output signal. Proportional path switching circuitry between a supply terminal and VCO input terminal includes a second transistor device which receives the first VCO input signals to control conduction between the supply terminal and the first VCO input terminal to provide a second signal for adjustment of the phase of the VCO output signal relative to the reference signal.
