The gas sorbing components include a central nucleus, selected among a silica particle, polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane and a spherosilicate, to which there are bound at least one organic or metalorganic radical carrying a functional group, which is able to chemically fix the gas to be sorbed, and at least one anchoring organic radical including a chain of carbon atoms, which has the functionality of fixing the nucleus in the matrix polymer.
