Abstract:
The object of the invention is to provide an automatic analysis apparatus capable of setting a dispensing mechanism for measuring dispensing accuracy and a dispensing volume, and capable of performing dispensing accuracy measurement without absorbance measurement. Regarding a dispensing accuracy, a dispensing mechanism to be measured is designated. Parameters including a dispensing volume and the like are input. A dispensing operation of the input dispensing volume is automatically performed for each designated dispensing mechanism. A reaction vessel contains, for example, a reagent of the input dispensing volume which has been dispensed by the designated dispensing mechanism. By measuring a weight of the reagent in the reaction vessel, or the like, it is possible to measure the dispensing accuracy of the designated dispensing mechanism.
Abstract:
The present report relates to hybridizing single-stranded (ss-) oligonucleotides which entirely consist of locked nucleic acid (LNA) monomers. The present document shows hybridization experiments with pairs of entirely complementary ss-oligonucleotides which fail to form a duplex within a given time interval. The present report provides methods to identify such incompatible oligonucleotide pairs. In another aspect, the present report provides pairs of complementary ss-oligonucleotides which are capable of rapid duplex formation. The present report also provides methods to identify and select compatible oligonucleotide pairs. In yet another aspect the present report provides use of compatible oligonucleotide pairs as binding partners in binding assays, e.g. immunoassays.
Abstract:
The application provides methods for the detection of an analyte in a sample by electrochemiluminescence using certain reagent compositions. Reagent compositions, reagent kits for measuring electrochemiluminescence (ECL) and electrochemiluminescence detection methods using the reagent compositions are disclosed. In particular, the application relates to the use of novel combinations of compounds, which can be used in said measurements to provide improved ECL assay performance.
