摘要: A surgical stapling instrument for performing a circular anastomosis stapling operation is provided. The surgical instrument includes a stapling head assembly mounted by a curved shaft to an actuator handle assembly and incorporates an improved actuator mechanism for transmitting the required operating forces and movements from the actuator handle assembly through the curved shaft to an anvil and staple driver of the stapling head assembly. The stapling head assembly includes a longitudinally movable trocar detachably secured by one or more retainer clips on a hollow shaft of the anvil. When the trocar is retracted, the anvil shaft slides into a central support tube which aligns the anvil axially and circumferentially with a staple holder on the stapling head assembly. The retainer clips are locked against the trocar by the support tube and transmit tension from the trocar to the anvil with no tension load on the anvil shaft. The actuator mechanism permits adjustment of the anvil gap to produce a desired staple height and precludes actuation of the staple head assembly if the anvil gap is set outside of a predetermined range. Also, the actuator mechanism is adapted to both advance and retract the staple driver relative to the staple holder in the stapling head assembly. Further, an improved arrangement for attaching the support shaft to the stapling head assembly and to the actuator handle assembly is provided.

摘要: A method is disclosed for replacing grease in a main bearing of a wind turbine, the main bearing located in a housing and the housing having least one cover plate. the bearing cover plate is removed from the housing, grease is manually removed from the main bearing, and a flushing cover is installed on the housing in place of the bearing cover plate. The flushing cover has at least two parts, the parts fitting around the main shaft, and each part having a seal so that when its attached to the bearing housing, the flushing cover forms a seal with the main shaft. The flushing cover has holes allowing access to the main bearing, and a solvent or oil is sprayed via one of the holes onto the main bearing to remove grease, the remaining holes being sealed by a removable plug. Solvent or oil is pumped out of the housing via a port at the bottom of the housing or flushing cover. The process is repeated for each hole, and the flushing cover removed, the main bearing packed with grease, and the bearing cover plate re-affixed. The spraying step involves pumping solvent or oil from a reservoir to the spray nozzle, and the step of pumping solvent or oil out of the bearing housing involves pumping solvent or oil to the reservoir via a return hose. This means that the solvent or oil is recycled during the replacing of the grease. An apparatus for flushing grease from a main bearing of a wind turbine is also described.

摘要: Systems and methods for identifying, tracking, tracing and determining the authenticity of a good include an imaging system, a database, and an authentication center. The imaging system is configured to capture an image of a unique signature associated with a good. The unique signature can be, for example, a random structure or pattern unique to the particular good. The imaging system is configured to process the image to identify at least one metric that distinguishes the unique signature from unique signatures of other goods. The database is configured to receive information related to the good and its unique signature from the imaging system, and to store the information therein. The authentication center is configured to analyze the field image with respect to the information stored in the database to determine whether the unique signature in the field image is a match to the captured image stored in the database.

摘要: A technique and apparatus to provide status tracking of presence and/or location of wireless devices to requesting entities inside and/or outside a particular wireless system. Presence and/or location information is provided to entities outside a particular servicing wireless network via mechanisms of call processing components of a mobile network and standard mechanisms available to any appropriately conforming MSC element. In one embodiment, a wireless chat automatic status tracking system utilizes a change in mobile registration status to automatically forward or copy a registration notification (REGNOT) message to an external IP application, to notify a chat group system outside the wireless network of current status information activity regarding a relevant device. Change in mobile registration is communicated via a suitable signaling link between a HLR and the chat group system. REGNOT messages are pushed over TCP/IP connections to external applications to automatically notify the external system of a particular user's location.

摘要: An infant care bed for supporting an infant having incorporated therein, certain testing and evaluation devices to carrying out the evaluation of an infant in a medical care facility. The apparatus can carry out at least one of the following tests on the infant: determining the weight of an infant, determining the sucking strength of an infant, determining the ability of the infant to hear certain frequencies and determining the bilirubin level of the infant's blood. The infant care bed includes a computer with a memory device such that the hospital can input a customized protocol of the tests to be performed on the infant and the criteria for passing the tests. A data input allows the personnel to input test results and a display provides an account of the tests performed and the tests not performed to assure that all of the tests required by the protocol are conducted.
