    摘要: A fishing lure is disclosed herein with a fishing line attachment structure comprising a hook structure, and a body structure mounted on the hook structure. The body structure has a body, a threaded neck having a cylindrical portion defining a first connector, and a head defining a second connector. The head and neck define the attachment structure. The neck includes a port for receiving the fishing line and external circumferential screw threads. The head having an aperture and internal screw threads. The fishing line is adapted to pass through the aperture of the head and the port of the neck and rest on a gripping surface from where the neck integrally mounted to the body, and the head is screwed over the neck while clenching the fishing line between the gripping surface of the body and the head. The fishing lure further comprises a weed guard and bite depth control.

The invention is further provides methods of preparing such pre-coated substrates and methods of analyzing biological samples immobilized on such pre-coated substrate.     摘要: A surgical stapling instrument for performing a circular anastomosis stapling operation is provided. The surgical instrument includes a stapling head assembly mounted by a curved shaft to an actuator handle assembly and incorporates an improved actuator mechanism for transmitting the required operating forces and movements from the actuator handle assembly through the curved shaft to an anvil and staple driver of the stapling head assembly. The stapling head assembly includes a longitudinally movable trocar detachably secured by one or more retainer clips on a hollow shaft of the anvil. When the trocar is retracted, the anvil shaft slides into a central support tube which aligns the anvil axially and circumferentially with a staple holder on the stapling head assembly. The retainer clips are locked against the trocar by the support tube and transmit tension from the trocar to the anvil with no tension load on the anvil shaft. The actuator mechanism permits adjustment of the anvil gap to produce a desired staple height and precludes actuation of the staple head assembly if the anvil gap is set outside of a predetermined range. Also, the actuator mechanism is adapted to both advance and retract the staple driver relative to the staple holder in the stapling head assembly. Further, an improved arrangement for attaching the support shaft to the stapling head assembly and to the actuator handle assembly is provided.

    摘要: An energy delivery device controls the transformation of the microstructure of shape memory material. A surgeon can use the energy delivery device to control the rate of implant shape change, the extent of implant shape change, as well as the force exerted on the surrounding tissue. The energy delivery device allows for the fine control of force when fixating osteoporotic bone and rate of bone transport when working near the spinal cord. The energy delivery device models or measures the heating profile of the implant and provides the surgeon a method to control the extent of microstructure phase transformation so that the rate, force or extent of implant shape change can be controlled individually or together. The invention is an implant controlled with an energy delivery device that transforms the microstructure of a shape memory material through heat generation in the implant. The implant is manufactured so that the energy delivery device achieves an implant temperature that controls the conversion of the microstructure for one of a plurality of members.
