摘要: Methods and systems for digitally reconstructing a patient tissue sample are described herein. In one embodiment, the method may include projecting a first structured light pattern onto the patient tissue sample, receiving a first reflection of the first structured light pattern from the patient tissue sample, and reconstructing the patient tissue sample based on the first reflection and the projected first structured light pattern. In another embodiment, the system may include a projector adapted or configured to project the first structured light onto the patient tissue sample, a charge-coupled device (CCD) adapted or configured to receive the first reflection from the patient tissue sample, and a reconstruction device adapted or configured to reconstruct the patient tissue sample based on the first reflection and the projected first structured light pattern.

摘要: The invention relates to non-woven protein fibers and to methods for forming and producing the same. In certain embodiments, the invention provides a method of processing a protein comprising dissolving a protein in a solution, optionally removing any insoluble materials from the solution, and spraying the solution under an applied pressure. In other embodiments, the protein can be derived from a range of sources, including but not limited to arthropod silks, animal keratin (e.g. hair and wool), tissue elastin, collagen, resilin, and plant protein. In certain embodiments, the methods of the invention are an alternative to electrospinning methods known in the art.

摘要: A wearable electronic system including a base member having an upper surface and a lower surface with the lower surface having a skin-adhering adhesive thereon. At least one sensor is positioned on the upper surface and configured to sense pulse when the base member is adhered to a user's skin. A controller is configured to receive pulse data from the at least one optical sensor and output information representative of a health condition of the user. The base member is manufactured of a flexible, biocompatible material.
