Method and system for ordering, loading and using tickets ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data that includes a number assigned to a mobile communications terminal. The ordered ticket is received via a mobile radio network at the mobile communications terminal, and the ticket is stored. A reading device receives ticket information contactlessly from the mobile communications terminal, and an authorization of a user of the mobile communications terminal is decided based on the ticket information.

A transaction method between a client and a terminal (2) connected to a telecommunication network comprises the transmission of at least one client identification (IDUI), a terminal identification (POSID), and transaction-specific data to a financial server connected to the telecommunication network.The terminal identification is read or entered in the terminal and transmitted by the telecommunication network to the financial server. The client is equipped with a SIM card which can be connected functionally to a mobile apparatus. The client identification transmitted to the financial server is read in the memory of the SIM card and transmitted to the financial server via at least one interface.

Method and system for ordering, loading and using admission tickets for access to access-controlled service devices, in which admission tickets are ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data via an order channel, the order data comprising the call number of a mobile communications terminal to which the ordered admission tickets are transmitted via a mobile network and are stored there in a memory module. The data exchange between this memory module and a reading device of a said service device takes place over a contactless interface. Decisions about the access authorization of the user of the said communications terminal are made, for example in the reading device or in the communications terminal, taking into account the ticket information contained in the said admission ticket, for example limited to a digitally signed ticket number or with indications about the respective service device, and, in accordance with the decision, access to the service device is given or denied to the user through an access device connected to the said reading device.

Proposed is a system (1) and a suitable method for distribution of picture objects which are stored with assigned picture object information in a picture object database (291). In a media center (2) of the system (1), user identification data are received which are transmitted to the media center (2) by communications terminals (4, 4′, 4″) via a communications network (3). In the media center (2) user interests profiles are defined which, assigned to the received user identification data, are stored in a user interests database (292). On the basis of the correlation of particular user interests profiles with picture object information, picture objects are selected and transmitted via the communications network (3) to the respective communications terminal (4, 4′, 4″) from which the received user identification data were transmitted. The current direction of view of a user of the communications terminal (4) is determined and transmitted to the media center (2), where picture objects which are viewed by the user are identified based thereon. From picture object information assigned to the picture objects viewed by the user, user interests profiles are determined and stored in the user interests database (292).

A billing method and billing system to determine usage fees which are charged to the user of a digital telecommunications network, whereby a usage fee charged for a connection is determined prior to establishing this connection from statistical characteristics of previous connections of the user, is described. Usage fees are determined from a dynamic client profile, derived from one or multiple random variables of previous connections of the user, which is stored in memory and rederived after each new customer connection. In a simple variant, the client profile contains a value proportional to the average price per connection or to the average duration of a connection of the user. The random variables used to derive the client profile include, for example, the connection duration, the time of day, the day of the week, and/or geographic characteristics of previous connections.

For transmitting video data from a central unit (1) via a mobile radio network (2) to a mobile terminal (3) having a display unit (32), determined is the gaze direction of a user of the display unit (32) by means of a gaze direction determination module (322) of the display unit (32). The gaze direction is transmitted by the terminal (3) via the mobile radio network (2) to the central unit (1). Based on the gaze direction, the central unit (1) determines position-dependent correlation threshold values. Moreover, the central unit (1) generates bit matrices that identify correlating picture elements having correlating picture element values, the correlating picture elements being determined dependent on the correlation threshold values. The bit matrices are transmitted together with the video data, one respective common data element, having a common picture element value, being transmitted for correlating picture elements. The display unit (32) renders picture signals based on the video data and the bit matrices. By determining the correlation threshold values depending on the gaze direction of the user, more severe conditions on the correlation of the picture element values can be applied to picture elements, located in the gazing direction of the user, than to picture elements, located outside the gaze direction. Thereby, the data volume to be transmitted can be reduced, without impairing qualitatively in a significant way for the user the subjective perception of the rendered video data.

Method for recycling one-time codes for individually marking individual products (11-15), the codes being each stored in a RFID tag (91-95) or encoded in the form of a bar code, including the following steps: determining that a one-time code individually marking a product (11-15) that no longer needs to be traced is available, offering said code for individually marking another product. With this method, one-time codes can be recycled independently from their carriers such as for example RFID tags or bar codes and sold to buyers interested in new codes.
