摘要: A display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a semiconductor layer; a data line disposed on the semiconductor layer, and a source electrode as well as a drain electrode disposed on the semiconductor layer and facing the source electrode. The semiconductor layer is made of an oxide semiconductor including indium, tin, and zinc. An atomic percent of indium in the oxide semiconductor is equal to or larger than about 10 at % and equal to or smaller than about 90 at %, an atomic percent of zinc in the oxide semiconductor is equal to or larger than about 5 at % and equal to or smaller than about 60 at %, and an atomic percent of tin in the oxide semiconductor is equal to or larger than about 5 at % and equal to or smaller than about 45 at %, and the data line and the drain electrode comprise copper.

摘要: A display apparatus includes a timing controller and a display panel. The timing controller generates output image data based on input image data and generates a polarity control signal by analyzing the input image data. The display panel displays a plurality of frame images based on the output image data during a plurality of frames and operates based on an inversion driving scheme in which a polarity pattern of the plurality of frame images is changed based on the polarity control signal per N frames, where N is a natural number. The number N is variable based on the polarity control signal.

The buffer layer comprises tin as a doping material. A weight percent of the doping material is greater than approximately 0% and less than or equal to approximately 20%.

摘要: A display device including: a display panel; and a signal controller which controls signals for driving the display panel, where the signal controller includes a representative value generator which sequentially operates a portion of image data of one frame, where the representative value generator moves a last position digit into another position digit of the portion of the image data and generates a representative value representing a portion of a frame image corresponding to the portion of the image data; a storage portion which stores the representative value therein; and a comparator which compares the representative values of present and prior frames to determine whether the portion of the frame image is a still image or a motion picture, and the signal controller controls the signals for driving the display panel such that a driving frequency for the still image is lower than a driving frequency for the motion picture.

摘要: An organic light emitting diode display includes a substrate, an overlap layer on the substrate, a semiconductor layer on the overlap layer, a first gate conductor on the semiconductor layer, a second gate conductor on the first gate conductor, a data conductor on the second gate conductor, a driving transistor on the overlap layer, and an organic light emitting diode connected with the driving transistor. The driving transistor includes, in the semiconductor layer, a first electrode, a second electrode, with a channel therebetween. A gate electrode of the first gate conductor overlaps the channel. The overlap layer overlaps the channel of the driving transistor and at least a portion of the first electrode. A storage line of the second gate conductor receives a driving voltage through a driving voltage line in the data conductor. The overlap layer receives a constant voltage.
