    摘要： A context-aware search apparatus and method are disclosed. The context-aware search apparatus includes a storage configured to store information about personal raw data collected from a routine activity of a user and life log information of the user, a communicator configured to communicate with a user equipment apparatus, and a controller configured to, in response to receiving a search request of the user through the communicator, extract a keyword from the search request, search the storage for information associated with the keyword based on the life log information of the user, and transmit a result of the search to the user equipment apparatus. Thus, the context-aware search apparatus provides a search result appropriate for a user based on personal raw data collected from a routine activity of the user.

The method includes acquiring detection information according to a grasp of a user by at least one detector located on at least one side of the media device, determining whether the acquired detection information satisfies a set image capturing mode switching condition for switching to the image capturing mode, and switching to the image capturing mode when a result of the determination indicates that the acquired detection information satisfies the image capturing mode switching condition. Therefore, it is possible to simply and easily switch between operation modes by recognizing the grasp of a user.

If a first icon in a first icon group including at least one icon is pressed, the media device changes display status of remaining icons in the first icon group except for the first icon, and displays, in a set display area, a second icon group including at least one icon related to a function corresponding to the first icon. If a second icon in the second icon group is selected due to a drag of the first icon, which is performed while the first icon is pressed, the media device performs a function corresponding to the second icon, making it possible to easily control menus of the media device.
