摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus having a separator and mixing equipment. The separator is operable to receive exhaust from fuel-burning equipment at a wellsite and separate the exhaust into a gas component and water. The mixing equipment is operable to receive at least one of the gas component and the water to form a subterranean formation treatment fluid. The present disclosure is further directed to a method of operating fuel-burning equipment at a wellsite to form an exhaust and utilizing the exhaust to form a fluid for injecting into a wellbore to treat a subterranean formation into which the wellbore extends.

摘要: Oilfield treatment compositions contain water, hydrochloric acid and urea. The urea and water may be present at a urea/water weight ratio between 0.8 and 12.0, and the hydrochloric acid and urea may be present at a urea/hydrochloric acid molar ratio between 0.1 and 0.5. The compositions are present as one liquid phase. The volumes of the compositions are substantially higher than those of the water volumes; consequently, the amount of water necessary to perform various well-service operations is lower.

摘要: A method is given for fracturing a formation, in particular far-field in a tight formation, in which at least a portion of the proppant is crushable in situ at some point during pumping, during fracture closure, or at higher stresses experienced later during fracture closure. The closure stress or hydrostatic stress is estimated, then a proppant is selected that is at least partially crushable at that closure stress, and then the fracturing treatment is performed with at least a portion of the total proppant being the selected crushable proppant.
