    Abstract: A method of treating an aqueous solution containing quantum dots, the method includes: a dissolution liquid preparation step of dissolving a quaternary ammonium salt and a potassium salt in an aqueous solution containing quantum dots to prepare a dissolution liquid; a phase separation step of heating the dissolution liquid to separate the dissolution liquid into two phases, which are a quaternary ammonium salt phase containing a large amount of the quaternary ammonium salt and a potassium salt phase containing a large amount of the potassium salt, and also to cause the quantum dots to be included in either one of the quaternary ammonium salt phase and the potassium salt phase; and a fractionation step of separating the quaternary ammonium salt phase and the potassium salt phase by fractionation.

    Abstract: A heat or cold storage pack is provided that contains a latent thermal storage material that can be restored during transport to prolong a heat or cold storage function thereof and that exhibits a reduced temperature change in a phase transition thereof to reliably maintain the temperature of an object to be kept warm or cold in a temperature range in which the object should be kept. The heat storage pack is for use in a logistic packaging container to adjust the temperature of an object to be kept warm and includes: a latent thermal storage material having a difference of less than 1° C. between a solidification temperature at which the latent thermal storage material starts changing phase from liquid to solid and an onset temperature of melting at which the latent thermal storage material starts changing phase from solid to liquid; and a housing section configured to house the latent thermal storage material, wherein the latent thermal storage material is selected in accordance with a temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept in such a manner that the solidification temperature is in the temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept and that the onset temperature of melting is lower than an upper limit of the temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept.

    Abstract: The disclosure is a cold storage material containing: a cold storage material main agent formed from water and a melting point adjuster; and a freezing point adjuster. The melting point adjuster includes a plurality of types of inorganic salts and an organic compound. Anions of the plurality of types of inorganic salts are all chlorine, and cations of the plurality of types of inorganic salts include at least sodium. The freezing point adjuster is a salt having a functional group that is identical to a cation included in any of the plurality of types of inorganic salts, and the salt has a temperature dependence of saturated solubility in pure water that decreases by 30% or more at a water temperature from 20° C. to 0° C.

    Abstract: A cold storage material and a cold storage pack are provided where a single cooling medium (cold insulation pack) containing a cold storage material having a plurality of melting points can keep an object at a low temperature that is suited to a situation. The cold storage material changes phase at a prescribed temperature and contains: water; a base compound containing a quaternary ammonium salt that forms a semi-clathrate hydrate; and a supercooling inhibitor that suppresses supercooling, wherein the cold storage material has one or more melting points depending on a temperature range in which the cold storage material has been frozen.     Abstract: There are provided a cooler container, cold tray, and red wine server in which it is possible to adjust the temperature of an outer surface on the buffer layer side of the container to a temperature that differs from the melting point of a freezing material. The cooler container adjusts temperature of an object to be cooled that includes a beverage or food product, the cooler container having at least a region with a hollow structure, the cooler container including: a thermal storage layer in the region, the thermal storage layer containing a freezing material that changes phase at a specific temperature; and at least one buffer layer in the region, the at least one buffer layer being separated from the thermal storage layer in the region and containing an antifreeze material that is a fluid at a phase transition temperature of the freezing material. The provision of the at least one intervening buffer layer enables the temperature of the outer surface on the buffer layer side of the container to differ from the melting point of the freezing material.
