Abstract: Provided is a preparative separation chromatograph including: a chromatograph 10 having a detector 15; a fraction collector 20; a controller 34 for commanding the fraction collector to initiate a component-collecting operation with reference to a point when the rate of change in an output signal from the detector 15 exceeds a positive reference value and to discontinue the operation with reference to a point when the absolute value of the rate of change becomes smaller than that of a negative reference value after the rate of change turns negative; a storage section 31 for storing sampling-rate information which relates the value of the output signal to the time interval at which the controller determines the rate of change; and a sampling rate determiner 33 for determining the time interval for calculating the rate of change based on the sampling-rate information and actual values of the output signal.

Abstract: An injection valve switches between a first state in which a sample loop is connected to a separation flow path through which a mobile phase from a liquid sender flows and a second state in which the sample loop is disconnected from the separation flow path. A pump speed determiner, in a case where a sample intake operation by a syringe pump is started immediately after the injection valve is switched from the second state to the first state, and a filling operation of filling the sample loop with the sample by the syringe pump is started after the intake operation is completed, determines an intake operation speed of the syringe pump that is required in order for the filling operation to complete immediately before the injection valve is switched from the second state to the first state next time using a set injection interval time. The syringe pump operates at the intake operation speed determined by the pump speed determiner while performing the intake operation. The sample is injected by the injector at intervals of the set injection interval time.

Abstract: A moving section that moves in the horizontal plane direction at above a collection container section where collection containers are set is provided with a nozzle holding section for holding a nozzle, and a waste port holding section for holding a waste port. The moving section is capable of moving the nozzle holding section or the waste port holding section. Accordingly, one of a state where the waste port is at a position immediately below the tip of the nozzle and a state where the waste port is not at the position immediately below the tip of the nozzle may be achieved.

Abstract: An online HPLC dissolution test system includes a dissolution tester and a liquid chromatograph. An autosampler of the liquid chromatograph includes at least one flow vial, a sampling needle and an injection port. The flow vial is connected to the dissolution tester via a pipe and is for storing a sample solution supplied from the dissolution tester therein. The sampling needle is for collecting the sample solution by sucking from the flow vial. The injection port is for injecting the sample solution from the sampling needle into the analysis channel. The controller of the liquid chromatograph includes an immediate analyzing execution part configured to cause the autosampler to execute immediate analyzing operation for sucking the sample solution in the flow vial with the sampling needle and directly injecting the sample solution into the injection port when the sample solution is supplied from the dissolution tester to the flow vial.
