    Abstract: A bicycle transmission device basically includes an input rotational shaft, an output part, a transmission mechanism that accelerates a rotational input that is input from the input rotational shaft and outputted to the output part, and a switching mechanism that selectively engages and disengages the transmission mechanism between the input rotational shaft and the output part. The transmission mechanism has first, second, third and fourth rotating bodies. The first rotating body is rotatable with the input rotational shaft. The second rotating body rotates around a stationary center axis with respect to the input rotational shaft and to which the torque of the first rotating body is transmitted. The third rotating body rotates with the second rotating body. The fourth rotating body receives torque from the third rotating body and rotates with the output part.

    Abstract: A bicycle drive unit has a transmission and a motor that transmits torque to the transmission. The transmission includes first and second input side rotating bodies, first and second output side rotating bodies, an output unit and a switching mechanism. The first and second output side rotating bodies are coupled to the first and second input side rotating bodies, respectively. The switching mechanism switches between a first state in which rotation of the first input side rotating body is transmitted to the output unit, and a second state in which rotation of the second input side rotating body is transmitted to the output unit. Only torque of the motor is transmitted from the first and second input side rotating bodies to the output unit, while torque outputted from the output unit merges with a manual drive force in a drive force transmission path from the output unit to a wheel.

    Abstract: A bicycle transmission includes an axle, an input component, a power transmission mechanism, a shift mechanism and an output component. The input component receives manually applied rotational force. The output component is rotatably supported by the axle. The power transmission mechanism transmits the rotational force of the input component to the output component through one of a plurality of power transmission paths. The shift mechanism includes a shift input member, a shift control member, a first saver spring and a second saver spring. The shift input member is settable in a plurality of rotational positions. The shift control member rotates in conjunction with movement of the shift input member to select one of the power transmission paths. In the shift mechanism, as the shift input member rotates in the first direction, the shift control member receives the rotational force applied in a first direction through the first saver spring.
