摘要: The present disclosure is directed to inventive systems, methods, and devices for use in an outdoor lighting network for drone detection. The drone detection system includes one or more lighting fixtures, one or more radar sensors to detect a moving object, and one or more controllers. The controllers receive data from the sensors, determine the velocity and velocity change rate of the object over a period of time, and analyze flight data pertaining to the moving object to determine if the object is a drone. The system can determine the starting location of the moving object, and send a signal indicating its starting location. The system can also track the position of the moving object in the outside environment.

摘要: A system and method for enabling secure device-to-device (D2D) communication between a plurality of user devices. The method includes providing public and private keys for each of the user devices, the private key arranged to decrypt data encrypted by the corresponding public key. A sender user device creates a digital signature using its private key. The sender double-encrypts a transmission using both the public keys of a recipient user device and a first relay user device. The transmission is transmitted from the sender to the recipient through a plurality of relay user devices. Each relay user device receives the transmission, decrypts a first layer of encryption with its private key, encrypts the transmission with the public key of a subsequent user device; and forwards the data transmission to the subsequent user device. The recipient authenticates the digital signature of the sender using the public key of the sender.

摘要: A method (400) for analyzing output of lighting units (10) in a lighting system (100) includes the steps of: (i) simulating (430), based on data from a photometric database (310), the output of a lighting unit; (ii) receiving and storing (420), from a database (330) of historical information, historical observed data about the output of the lighting unit; (iii) receiving (450) observed data (36) about the output of the lighting unit; (iv) generating (440) a model of the lighting system based at least in part on the simulated output of the lighting unit and the historical observed data about the output of the lighting unit, wherein the model comprises localization information for the lighting unit; and (v) comparing (470) the received observed data about the output of the lighting unit to the generated model, wherein a fault is detected if the observed data varies from the generated model by a predetermined amount.
