    Abstract: Embodiments for electronic device fasteners that enable an electronic device to be reliably and quickly secured on a host board are presented. In one exemplary embodiment, a fastening assembly includes a glider component that supports an electronic device such as an M.2 solid state drive, and slides on tracks installed on a host board to bring a handle bar in a locking position above the electronic device securing the electronic device in place. The glider component and the tracks are designed with sloped surfaces such that as the glider component slides over the tracks, when it reaches an end of the track, a stable engagement secures the electronic device in place without the need for any additional fastening mechanisms.

Each corner retaining feature includes a base being formed of a planar structure and having a base top surface, a support rail extending from a portion of the base top surface and having a support rail top surface, a fastening feature defined by surfaces of the base and support rail and comprising vacant space extending through the base and at least a portion of the support rail, a guide wall extending from a portion of the support rail top surface, a retaining protrusion extending from the guide wall toward a center line of the electronic device fastener, and a stopper positioned beside the base link bar and at back ends of the base, the support rail, the guide wall, and the base link bar.

    Abstract: An adaptor device includes a first interface for coupling to a first processor, a second interface for coupling to a second processor, the second interface being different than the first interface, and a plurality of third interfaces, which are different than either the first interface or the second interface. The plurality of third interfaces are configured for coupling to a corresponding plurality of external devices. The adaptor device is configured to receive, at the first interface, a first signal from the first processor.
