    Abstract: A lamination molding apparatus with a molding table, including: a galvanometer scanner configured to irradiate a small irradiation region on the molding table with a laser beam; an inert gas supplying nozzle having an inert gas supplying opening for supplying an inert gas; a fume suction duct having a fume suction opening for suctioning the inert gas containing fumes generated with irradiation of the laser beam; an integration unit integrally including the galvanometer scanner, the inert gas supplying nozzle and the fume suction duct; and a moving device configured to move the integration unit so the galvanometer scanner scans and irradiates the laser beam on a large irradiation region larger than the small irradiation region on the molding table; wherein the inert gas supplying opening and the fume suction opening are opposed to each other so an irradiation path of the laser beam is placed therebetween.

    Abstract: A sinker electric discharge machining apparatus includes a quill 10, to which a tool electrode is attached, and a linear motor device configured to generate a linear movement of the quill towards a workpiece. The quill includes a plate member 11 made of a metal or an alloy, a first reinforcing member 51 fixed to a front surface 14 of the plate member, a second reinforcing member 52 fixed to the front surface of the plate member, a third reinforcing member 53 fixed to a back surface 15 of the plate member and disposed opposite to the first reinforcing member across the plate member, and a fourth reinforcing member 54 fixed to the back surface of the plate member and disposed opposite to the second reinforcing member across the plate member. The quill has a cross-section that is symmetric in a width direction of the plate member.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional printer (1) includes a material supply device (3) that supplies material powder to a table which is movable vertically, a powder retaining wall (26) that surrounds the table and retains the material powder, a material-recovery bucket (30) that accommodates excess material powder and impurities discharged from the powder retaining wall, an impurity removing device (43) that removes the impurities from the material powder, and a material drying device (47) that dries the material powder. The material powder from which the impurities have been removed and which has been dried is returned and recycled to the material supply device.
