    Abstract: A method for collecting drone data at a crash site using an autonomous or semi-autonomous drone may include determining or receiving a crash GPS location associated with a crash location of a crash scene, and may further include generating a pre-generated flight path for an autonomous or semi-autonomous drone based upon the crash GPS location. The autonomous or semi-autonomous drone may be mounted, or held securely in place, on an emergency response vehicle traveling to the crash location. The method may further include autonomously or semi-autonomously flying the autonomous or semi-autonomous drone in accordance with the pre-generated flight path at the crash GPS location to generate or collect drone data associated with the crash scene. The drone data may be used for one or more insurance-related purposes, such as handling, adjusting, or generating auto or homeowners insurance claims; crash reconstruction; fault determination; damaged vehicle repair; and/or buildup identification.

    Abstract: A vehicle weather damage-prevention system is provided. The system may include a vehicle computing device associated with a vehicle, a covered parking location (CPL) computing device associated with a covered parking location, and an insurance computing device. The vehicle computing device may receive weather data and determine whether the vehicle is affected by inclement weather. The vehicle computing device may receive from the CPL computing device information indicating whether the covered parking location has available parking spots. The vehicle computing device may transmit a request to the CPL computing device to reserve a parking spot. The CPL computing device may selectively permit the vehicle access to the covered parking location. The insurance computing device may monitor the vehicle computing device and/or the CPL computing device and determine if an insurance policy is eligible for insurance-related benefits based upon a usage profile of the vehicle or the covered parking location.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to displaying user preferences related to operation of a vehicle. For example, the associated systems and methods may include receiving a user's personal information and preferences and displaying them on an in-vehicle infotainment system or a mobile device application. More particularly, the user may input her automobile insurance provider, health insurance provider, medical information, a preferred repair facility or mechanic, a preferred towing company, a preferred hospital, an emergency contact number, the user's blood type, etc. The user preferences may be stored and displayed on the in-vehicle infotainment system or the mobile device application. Furthermore, the in-vehicle infotainment system or the mobile device application may receive vehicle diagnostic information from the vehicle, and display user preferences based on the diagnostic information. For example, if the diagnostic information indicates the user needs an oil change and the user's preferred mechanic is Jiffy Lube, the in-vehicle infotainment system or the mobile device application may display the three nearest Jiffy Lubes.
