摘要: A pneumatic tire with a noise damper has a noise damper made of porous resin foam and arranged on a tread inner surface. The noise damper is formed by a single annular body extending continuously in a tire circumferential direction. The noise damper has a core density in a range of from 35 to 65 kg/m3 and an overall density in a range of from 50 to 105 kg/m3. A maximum height of the noise damper from the tread inner surface is in a range of from 12 to 30 mm.

摘要: A pneumatic tire is provided with a noise damper made of a sponge material attached to a radially inner surface of the tread portion. The noise damper has protruding portions protruding from a radially inner surface of a band-shaped base portion. The protruding portions extend from one edge to the other edge of the base portion in the widthwise direction, and arranged at intervals in the tire circumferential direction. In a cross section of the tire parallel with the tire equatorial plane, the radially inner surface of each of the protruding portions includes a flat portion, and the radially inner surface of the base portion includes an arc portion parallel with the inner surface of the tread portion.

摘要: A run-flat tire with an aspect ratio of 50% to 60%, which comprises a carcass consisting of a single ply of cords extending between bead cores through a tread portion and sidewall portions, a pair of sidewall reinforcing layers each with a crescent cross-sectional shape and disposed axially inwardly of the carcass in each sidewall portion, the sidewall reinforcing layers made of rubber having a complex elastic modulus of from 6 to 12 MPa, and a pair of bead apex elements which extending radially outwardly of the tire from bead cores, each bead apex element having a height of from 0.30 to 0.48 times a tire section height from a bead base-line, wherein the tire has certain relations with respect to thicknesses of sidewall reinforcing layers and sidewall rubber elements.

The tire body has height Ha in range of 8˜17 mm where the height Ha is measured from a rim line of the tire body to inner edge of an innermost dimple/fin row of the tire body in radial direction of the tire body, the innermost row is formed in dimple/fin forming region including one or more dimple/fin rows having dimple/fin portions arrayed in circumferential direction of the tire body, and the dimple/fin forming region is formed on external surface of a sidewall portion on outer side of the rim line in the radial direction.
