摘要: A polypropylene based sealant film for retort packaging includes a film made of a resin composition that contains 70 to 85 wt % of a propylene/ethylene block copolymer (a) and 15 to 30 wt % of a low-density polyethylene based polymer (b), wherein, as for the propylene/ethylene block copolymer (a), a proportion of a 20° C. xylene insoluble portion is 75 to 85 wt % relative to 100 wt % of (a), a limiting viscosity ([η]H) of the insoluble portion is 1.7 to 2.0 dl/g, and a limiting viscosity ([η]EP) of a soluble portion is 3.0 to 3.4 dl/g, and the low-density polyethylene based polymer (b) has a density of 0.900 to 0.930 g/cm3 and a melt flow rate of 1 to 10 g/10 minutes.

摘要: This invention provides an easy-to-tear resin film. Such easy-to-tear resin film is an easy-to-tear, unstretched resin film composed of a blend of a polyethylene terephthalate-based resin with the second resin having a difference in SP value from the polyethylene terephthalate-based resin of 1.1 to 4.0 (cal/cm3)0.5. This invention also provides a laminate film 1B for a packaging material comprising the easy-to-tear, unstretched resin film 10 between the inner layer film 20 serving as a heat seal surface and the surface layer film 30 comprising an isophthalic acid-modified polyethylene terephthalate resin having a copolymerization ratio of isophthalic acid component of 0 mol % to 5 mol %.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a composition. In an embodiment, the composition includes: A) an ethylene/a-olefin multi-block copolymer having a melt index from 0.2 g/10 min to 8.0 g/10 min; B) a styrenic block polymer comprising from greater than 1 wt % to less that 50 wt % units of polymerized styrene; C) a tackifier; D) an oil; and the composition has a melt index from 3 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min. The composition is suitable for use as a pressure sensitive adhesive layer in a reclosable packaging structure.

摘要: The present application relates to an encapsulant for a PV module, a method of manufacturing the same and a PV module. The encapsulant according to an embodiment of the present application has excellent heat resistance or the like and improved creep physical properties, and thus even when the encapsulant is used under conditions of a high temperature and/or high humidity for a long time, deformation is small and the encapsulant can exhibit excellent adhesive strength. Accordingly, when the encapsulant is applied to a PV module, durability or the like may be improved.

The invention resides in a 1-butene.α-olefin copolymer composition including 99 to 1 parts by mass of at least one olefin polymer (X) selected from propylene polymers (X-1) and ethylene polymers (X-2), and 1 to 99 parts by mass of a 1-butene.α-olefin copolymer (Y) containing 0.1 to 30 mol % of one or more α-olefins selected from α-olefins and having a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1.0 to 3.5 [wherein the total of (X) and (Y) in the composition is 100 parts by mass].

摘要: Barrier films are prepared from a blend of two high density polyethylene blend components and a high performance organic nucleating agent. The two high density polyethylene blend components have substantially different melt indices. Large reductions in the moisture vapor transmission rate of the film are observed in the presence of the nucleating agent when the melt indices of the two blend components have a ratio of greater than 10/1. The resulting barrier films are suitable for the preparation of packaging for dry foods such as crackers and breakfast cereals.

摘要: A multilayer film suitable for sealing containers such as used for food packaging, and methods of making the film, are described. The film is particularly suitable for sealing containers made from polylactic acid (PLA). The multilayer film includes a) a substrate that includes a polymeric base layer; and b) on the substrate, a heatseal layer containing a PLA homopolymer or copolymer. The heatseal layer further includes dispersed therein an adhesion promoter, or alternatively the substrate further includes the adhesion promoter in a layer on a surface of the polymeric base layer between and adjacent the base layer and the heatseal layer. An antifog agent may also be included in the heatseal layer or on the surface of the heatseal layer opposite the substrate.
