    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire 1 in which turbulent-flow generating projections 10 each extending from an inner circumference side to an outer circumference side are provided on a outer circumferential face 3a which is tire surface of tire side portion 3 at intervals in a tire circumferential direction. Each of the turbulent-flow generating projections 10 includes an edge portion 10g when being viewed in a cross-sectional shape taken along a direction perpendicular to an extending direction thereof, and a front wall angle θ formed between a front wall face 10a of each turbulent-flow generating projection 10 and the tire surface (outer circumferential face 3a) is set in the range of 70° to 110°, the front wall face being hit by an airflow.

    Abstract: It is a run-flat tire 1 provided with a carcass 6 extending from a tread portion 2 through a sidewall portion 3 to a bead core 5 in a bead portion 4, and a side-reinforcement rubber layer 10 disposed inside the carcass 6 in the sidewall portion 3 and having a substantially crescent-shaped cross-section. In a tire meridian cross section including the tire rotational axis under a normal state such that the tire is mounted on a normal rim, inflated to a normal internal pressure and loaded with no load, the tire inner-cavity surface 11 includes a side inner-cavity surface 12. A distance in the tire radial direction of the side inner-cavity surface 12 from a bead toe 4e of the bead portion 4 is in a range of 0.4 times to 0.9 times the length H in the tire radial direction of the tire inner-cavity surface 11. The side inner-cavity surface 12 includes a smooth surface 15 which does not have unevenness, and the total surface area of the smooth surface 15 is more than 90% of the total area of the side inner-cavity surface 12.

    Abstract: A run-flat tire capable of reducing weight and enhancing its uniformity. The run-flat tire 1 provides a troidal carcass 6 extending from a tread portion 2 to the bead core of each bead portion 4 through each of sidewall portions 3 and a pair of side reinforcing rubbers 9 arranged inside the carcass 6 and extending along the sidewall portions 3 in the tire radial direction inwardly and outwardly. In the outer surface of the tread portion 2, pattern elements are arranged, thereby forming a pitch pattern. Each of the side reinforcing rubber 9 provides with recesses 11 circumferentially spaced on the inner surface of side reinforcing rubber facing the tire cavity.     Abstract: A tire (10) is provided with a cast body (12). The cast body has an annular circumferentially extending isotropic portion (14) having a pair of anisotropic side portions (16,18) extending therefrom. The side portions are rendered anisotropic by geometric means.
