    Abstract: An electric unmanned aerial vehicle includes a position sensor configured to obtain coordinate information of a present position of the electric unmanned aerial vehicle in real-time, a memory storing coordinate information of a preset position of the electric unmanned aerial vehicle, and a controller in communication with the position sensor and the memory and being configured to calculate a safety electricity amount needed by the electric unmanned aerial vehicle to perform a safety protection command based on the coordinate information of the present position and the coordinate information of the preset position, compare the safety electricity amount with a present remaining electricity amount of a battery of the electric unmanned aerial vehicle, and perform a safety protection command if the present remaining electricity amount is not greater than the safety electricity amount.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) associated with flight response measures. The flight response measure may be generated by assessing one or more flight-restriction strips, assessing at least one of a location or a movement characteristic of the UAV relative to the one or more flight-restriction strips, and directing, with aid of one or more processors, the UAV to take one or more flight response measures based on at least one of the location or movement characteristic of the UAV relative to the one or more flight-restriction strips.

    Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, storage media, and computer programs that support communication in a movable object environment. In one embodiment, information for a set of communication parameters is provided, a modified value for at least one of the set of communication parameters is obtained from an affiliated device; and a connection established between the movable object and the affiliated device is configured based on the modified value. In another embodiment, a connection between a movable object and an affiliated device is established, wherein the connection uses a set of communication parameters, values of which are set to default values; a modified value for at least one of the set is obtained, based on values for the set of communication parameters provided by the movable object and values for the set of communication parameters provided by the affiliated device, and the connection is configured based on the modified value.

    Abstract: A system and apparatus for data recording and analyzing operational data monitors and records data generated by a plurality of operational and extended sensors each positioned on a moving platform. The data recording and analysis system analyzes the sensor data during movement and, by performing a statistical analysis of the operational data, adjusts one or more selected performance capabilities of the platform. The performance envelope of a platform is altered according to the experience of an operator. The recorded data is transmitted at any suitable time, including during and/or after travel. The apparatus provides redundant storage capability and the ability to store information on removable media to enable sharing of data. Thereby, the system, apparatus and method advantageously optimizes the operator's overall experience controlling a platform.
