More particularly, embodiments of the present invention relate to a display device including a white pixel, and a method of driving such a display device. A display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of colored pixels and a white pixel, wherein the colored pixels and the white pixel each include at least one switching element, the colored pixels and the white pixel are disposed to be adjacent to each other so as to collectively have a center, and the switching elements are each positioned proximate to the center.
