摘要: A display device includes a backlight unit, a display panel, and a controller. The backlight unit comprises a plurality of first light sources in a first direction and a plurality of second light sources in the first direction. The display panel is spaced apart from the backlight unit in a third direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction and comprising an edge portion defined along at least one side thereof and a plurality of pixels. The controller generates an edge image data corresponding to a plurality of edge pixels disposed in the edge portion among the pixels, the edge image data is generated on the basis of a first angle between the third direction and a first imaginary line connecting the edge pixels and the first light sources and a second angle between the third direction and a second imaginary line connecting the edge pixels and the second light sources.
