Abstract: A test system, a method of testing a display cell using the same, and a display device are provided. There is provided a test system comprising: a display cell including a pixel and a data line connected to the pixel, an optical sensor and a readout line connected to the optical sensor, and a signal selection unit for selectively connecting a test signal line to any one of the data line and the readout line; and a test member configured to apply a first test control signal to the signal selection unit in a data test mode and apply a second test control signal to the signal selection unit in a sensing test mode.

Abstract: A display device includes light emitting and receiving pixels, a reset line, a fingerprint scan line, a fingerprint sensing line, and first and second voltage lines in a display region. Each light receiving pixel includes a light receiving element including a first electrode and a second electrode connected to the second voltage line, a sensing transistor connecting the first electrode to the fingerprint sensing line according to a fingerprint scan signal applied to the fingerprint scan line and a reset transistor to connect the first voltage line to the first electrode according to a reset signal applied to the reset line. A first voltage applied to the first voltage line is greater than a second voltage applied to the second voltage line, and a third voltage applied to the fingerprint sensing line is greater than the second voltage and smaller than the first voltage.

A fingerprint sensing method of the fingerprint sensor includes: storing a calibration image; generating an original image, based on sensing signals from the photo sensors; performing calibration on the original image by utilizing the calibration image; and detecting a fingerprint, based on the calibrated image. The calibration image is generated by synthetizing valid regions extracted from an original calibration image corresponding to the original image.
