Abstract: A display apparatus includes a light unit to emit blue light, a first base substrate disposed on the light unit, a gate pattern disposed on the first base substrate and including a gate electrode, a first inorganic insulation layer disposed on the gate pattern, a data pattern disposed on the first inorganic insulation layer and including a drain electrode, a light blocking pattern disposed on the first inorganic insulation layer, a second inorganic insulation layer disposed on the data pattern and the first inorganic insulation layer, a pixel electrode disposed on the second inorganic insulation layer, and electrically connected to the drain electrode, a color conversion pattern overlapping the pixel electrode and including a quantum dot or phosphor, and a thin film transistor disposed on the first base substrate, wherein the light blocking pattern overlaps the thin film transistor, and the light blocking pattern is disposed on the first base substrate.

Abstract: A display panel a first display substrate including a non-display area in which a driving circuit and a light shielding layer are disposed, and a display area in which a pixel electrode connected to the driving circuit is disposed, a second display substrate facing the first display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first display substrate and the second display substrate. The driving circuit includes a first transistor, a second transistor, a first branch electrode connected to the first transistor, a second branch electrode connected to the second transistor and overlapping with the first branch electrode in a direction parallel to a surface of the first display substrate, and a connection electrode connecting the first and second branch electrodes disposed on different layers from each other. The light shielding layer overlaps with the first and second transistors and exposes the first and second branch electrodes.
