    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a luminance compensator, and a data driver. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The luminance compensator is configured to calculate a scaling factor based on a target current, a black image current, and a sensing current. The target current is calculated based on an input current input to the display panel. The sensing current is measured from the display panel. The data driver is configured to generate a data voltage based on input image data to supply the data voltage to the pixels. The data voltage has a voltage level adjusted based on the scaling factor.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a current sensor that senses a sensing current that flows through the pixels, and a data compensator. The data compensator calculates a target current from an image frame of input image data using a current deviation for each position of the image frame and a current contribution ratio for each color of the image frame, and that generates a scale factor by comparing the target current and the sensing current. The display device further includes a timing controller that generates output image data by scaling grayscale values of the input image data using the scale factor; and a data driver that provides a data signal corresponding to the output image data to the pixels.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a driving controller, and a voltage generator. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. Each of the pixels receives a driving voltage through a first voltage line. The driving controller receives an input image signal including first to third color signals and outputs a voltage control signal for controlling a voltage level of the driving voltage based on the first to third color signals. The voltage generator provides the driving voltage to the first voltage line and determines the voltage level of the driving voltage based on the voltage control signal. The driving controller determines first to third gate-source voltages respectively corresponding to the first to third color signals and outputs the voltage control signal based on the first to third gate-source voltages.
