The display device includes a first insulation substrate; gate lines and data lines positioned on the first insulating substrate. The gate lines and data lines are insulated from each other and crossed each other. A first passivation layer positioned on the gate lines and the data lines, and including a first contact opening. A color filter positioned on the first passivation layer, and including an opening. An organic insulation layer positioned on the color filter, and including a contact hole, in which the first contact opening is larger than the opening. The organic insulation layer covers the color filter and the contact opening.
