Abstract:
A method for handling an ATTACH reject message with packet radio service mobility management reject cause number (#14 cause) at a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes receiving, at the UE, an ATTACH accept message for a network service on a public land mobile network (PLMN) from a first network entity, wherein the PLMN is in a “forbidden PLMNs for general packet radio service (GPRS) service” list, detecting, by the UE, that the UE's evolved universal terrestrial radio access (E-UTRA) capability is disabled, and enabling, by the UE, the UE's E-UTRA capability and removing the PLMN from the “forbidden PLMNs for GPRS service” list.
Abstract:
Accordingly, the embodiment herein is to provide a method for coordinating tune away event of a Multiple Universal Subscriber Identity Module User Equipment (MUSIM UE) (100), where the MUSIM UE (100) includes a plurality of Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs) (150). The method includes receiving, by a second SIM (150B) of the MUSIM UE (100), data in a Downlink (DL) message from a network device (200) over an air interface, where the data includes a follow-on indication. Further, the method includes decoding, by the second SIM (150B) of the MUSIM UE (100), the received data. Further, the method includes coordinating, by the second SIM (150B) of the MUSIM UE (100), the tune away event of the MUSIM UE (100) based on the decoding of the received data.
Abstract:
A method disclosed herein includes registering, by a User Equipment (UE), with a primary cell of a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) after terminating at least one communication service initiated in a second RAT, and initiating, by the UE, Inter-Radio Access Technology (IRAT) measurement of a secondary cell before receiving a reconfiguration message from the primary cell in response to the registering, the secondary cell being associated with the primary cell.
